- . . . I'm on rations of Forum Stomper till next harvest.
37C is hot - in fact that's hot enough to set up a heat exchanger and a wee pump to warm up your outdoor pool, as somebody tried to sell me one recently, apparently I have an interest in pools.... I think I must have left summit about spam ticked on some Spanish website last visit - she seemed unfazed by the fact I spoke pigeon Spanish (with the occasional French verb thrown in to the confusion) was in Scotland, or indeed that it had to meet the minimum specification for a Curling Rink during winter (I think she Googled Curling Rink then hung up) - some sales people have no sense of humour...
I'm not entirely clued up on this but I believe there's a huge drop off in growth rate as temps rise above 30C (a lot of this has to do with relative humidity too - so high humidity high temp will slow stuff down), while I believe (somebody can contradict me) that you can run higher temps as long as you can keep humidity down and air circulation up to avoid hotspots.
I suspect these traits might have been true comparing early photoperiod Indica v Sativa strains but suspect modern genetics are so mixed up that each strain will respond differently to heat stress anyway.
Like you I'm not commercial - purely for home consumption tyvm - and it's the first hot summer grow in this cabinet (so we'll have to suck it n see).
