Afternoon fellow UK green thumbs! I am new to this forum and growing as a whole. I was wondering if someone could help me out with nutes for my DWC grow that I have just started. I am running a 20L bucket with 16L of pH 6, EC 0.8, PPM(500)-400, currently, this system has an auto Dos Si Dos seedling that is showing a root at day 5 from seed. So far for the reservoir I have only used ROOT!T and plant success orca as specified, but since my tap water is 80ppm and I'm planning to switch to base nutes schedule in week 2, I was not sure whether I need Cal-Mag in addition to the nutes I am using. Any recommendations are gladly welcome.
Nutes I am planning to use:
Growers Ark Grow A+B
Growers Ark Bloom A+B
Growers Ark Extra Traces
These will be used according to the schedule provided

That's the royal gorilla, got two of them on the go. Yeah I thought it looked s bit further on. Got some mimosa evo and gorilla zkittlez in there too but I've read so much disappointing stuff about the evo

Lovely to meet ya buddy.. the UK growers are coming in thick n fast.. brilliant. Unfortunately I know nothing about DWC.. ill tag a brother or two who might have some knowledge or might be able to point you at someone who does. @St. Tom @Nelly Nugs if your on.. any DWC knowledge??

Ain't read anything about it m8.. barneys is it?? Not a lot of barneys seems to get done on here.. dunno why tbh any grows I have seen looked on a par with most other breeders.

The royal gorilla is by royal queen seeds and I wasn't expecting much. Its apparently pretty high thc% think it said around 27% .

No the barnies was free stuff but I thought I would give it a go. Will report back in a few weeks and let you know.

@BBburnzzzWelcome to AFN. I am in the USA Central California. I am not familiar with that nutrient line. You need balanced nutrients in the DWC from day 1. Not counting your water you should start at ~250 - 300 PPM PH 5.8 I highly recommend Botanicare HydroGuard. I have a basic DWC guide here:

Thank you very much for the reply! I will definitely go through these, so looking at what you've said here I guess my PPM is in the proper range but my pH might be a bit too high. Also, I didn't look at getting hydro guard because the Plant Success Orca website says it provides defence against undesirable bacteria such as pythium and so on. Do you still think maybe I should go for it? I'm a bit reluctant due to my financial situation but if you think its essential apart from Orca, I will look at getting it. Thanks again : )
