New Grower To Auto Or Not To Auto? Stitch Blueberries -- let's see!

I feel ya yoda - and don't think I ain't tempted to go 12/12, but I can't sacrifice my buddy's photos that I got to hold for another few months (he's arranged somewhere else to babysit them), then - damned right - I'd go 12/12! But I promised to wait. He's a good ol' boy and makes it worth my while when he crops (and I love his CBD meds!) Still don't know why, but my gut tells me this remaining blueberry will auto....

... the reason more for me piping in is I am trying to figure out how long a grower will go with an "auto" in veg on a regular lightening schedule? ...
 for your dedication and to you for sharing with us what happened with seeds that were supposedly "will be just fine if they come direct".
:Sharing One:

How long? I'm pretty stubborn, within reason, LoL. As for "will be just fine if they come direct" Let's see if his words hang him.
:coffee2:

I think the longest I had an auto not flower if memory serves me right almost two months, so we'll see :) you on 18/6? Maybe drop it an hour and it will start doing it's deed... Just sounds like an auto/photo that hasn't been stabilized enough, willing to bet if and when it gets to flowering if ya hit it with some auto pollen, I betcha the seeds in the offspring will all just auto fine. :karma Cloud:

Now that is a brilliant idea bro! 18/6 may just be the ticket -- I'll switch the photoperiod tonight. Though, I once had a strain of old school NL that was used as cuttings donor for over three years and the clown sitting on it used to smoke near an once a day, anyhow, he messed up in his then new set up and the photoperiod was actually 16/8 and that ol' gal hit flower with a vengeance! We let her finish and re-vegged her but her cuttings never had the same vigor again -- they weren't bad, just not super. This CBD Critical Mass I'm sitting on (despite the forums and all the alleged hermie issues) is a hell of a stable plant, but I'll be watching it closely.... Never heard of anything playing up on 18/6, but after a year or more on 20/4...nah!! I'm switching photoperiod tonight.

Cheers bro!

Okay, switched photoperiod to 18/6 yesterday but, something occurred to me this morning: If autoflowers are not photosensitive and flower when they're biologically ready, why would even a 12/12 cycle make any difference to them?

Okay -- It's Officially An Auto!!

Howdy folks,

We're at day 52 today and this Blueberry is definitely an auto! Bloody thing took it's time but tips are showing definite budset, hoping it will accelerate and make up some time...as you can see, couldn't keep her sister (who was looking to be seriously late if it would have autoflowered at all). So, bizarre as it's been, it's an auto!

Okay, I reckon my coco is spent! Must have run it more than three crops; even the Different Ryders are showing blemishes, and I'm not pushing them hard at all (EC 1.0) and substrate pH is steady at 6.3 but something is going on at the trace level and I'm bloody tired of it. They're a little smaller than the last one but flowering great guns at 36 days!

The Onyx seedlings are all girls! They expressed three days ago and are at day 19. I'm kinda bummed though, I wanted some pollen (yeah, I'm hooked on slinging it around) and seeing as the coco on these two is fresh they seem to be growing a little quicker and are much darker and expressing more indica pheno...

...This little joker though is paler and tending more toward sativa pheno. It also being in spent coco is showing Cal/Mg traces. I really want pollen so I'm gonna turn this one with Tiresias Mist. Anyone know when's the best time to hit her with it??

So, again, the Blueberry is an auto. Now to see how hard and how long it flowers (wonder if the reduced photoperiod will help?), might even go into 100 days by the looks of it.

Cheers y'all.

They have a short lifespan they grow 24/7 so you would cut its flower time in half and it would still be die on the same day getting less yield .

Yeah, I know, right? But, if it's an auto wouldn't it take same time to finish but just yield less? Though, turns out my boy ain't so stoned; upon declining to take my spare blueberry he asks, "What difference would it make mate?" Of course, I only figured what he meant this morning -- duhhh! But, yeah, technically the photoperiod should be totally irrelevant to a 'true auto' otherwise, if it responds in any way to light-hours, it ain't auto...or am I waaay medicated tonight??

Need help people: when's the right time to hit a female auto with Tiresias mist? The specimen I wanna use expressed gender in her 17th day and is now 21 days (I think) and looks to be hitting flower in the next two weeks or so I'd say.... Any input welcome.

You might wanna hit the admin only live forum for a quick response, South Syder.

Looking very good, I still suspect it's a superauto. What is your max height? This can grow huge:)
