lets say I leave it set.
will it even out?
how long will it take?

Most acidic environments don't suddenly become more alkaline, without a reason, such as lime. I think Dolomite takes about 3 weeks to become active. If you're not in a hurry wait until about 3 weeks before you want to use your soil and see where the PH is at. Then you can choose to lime or not but with all things TLO the longer items have to break down in the soil the better it all works.

man I tell ya,I have soooo much mixed in one spot right now just cooking away,I think the zombie reign will incur before I use mine too.LMFAO!!I saw steam n heat plumes coming off the cooking pile this morning.gotta love it!!I think I have around 120 gallons er so with all my higher end soils.80+ cooking right now too.cant wait to use my newest batch in a few weeks.

I have a quick question I guess.I know we have an organics section n that rocks ofcourse.but what about maybe a dedicated thread just to discuss TLO and its items and used as an Organic teaching method?eh,just an idea..food fer thought maybe.

Im getting my wormy dudes farm woo hoo.now I can finally make my living vermicompost type of teas n feeds Ive been reading about.that'll rock."AFN smoke out"

nice info. never made supersoil myself. but ill try it sometime since you all are having such a good time with it

you'd be doing yourself a huge favor imo biggest thing is to use a recipe thats the most affordable as well as proven to work well.read up a small bit on super basic Tea(ACT) making, use a tote imo large enough to store soil in,35 gal er so),let it cook for two months, and its that simple.water and a tea a couple times.grows over n you got smooth organic buds."AFN smoke out" and for more involvement you can get a worm farm n harvest you own living casting for teas n spikes n top coats and compost juice for ferts and compost yer own castings as well.better grows and saves a lot of money in the long haul.Take it easy and Best of luck to ya dude.:Sharing One:

I made a random batch with what I had around and my peppers are loving them.

subs supermix method

Do u have to use 7 gallon pots with his method I was thinking about using 2-3 gallon pots.because my money is very limited right now will I still get the same results using 2-3 gallon pot as using 7 gallon pots . im starting speed bud autos there 53 days from seed to harvest flowering time is 35 days that mite not b enough time to fully root a 7 gallon pot thats why I was thinking 2-3 gallon pots....

So... I have been using my soil mix for autos and transplanted mostly vegged photos along with a few foliar sprays I made and it is working beautifully for both. I though it would be too hot for my autos but its not. Yay!
