Anyway, here is the recipe I used.

1/2 block pro mix.
Approx 15 - 20lbs worm castings
2.5lbs steamed bone meal
2lbs indo bat guano
1lb Jamaican guano
.5lb high N all purpose guano
2lbs blood meal
1.5lbs rock phosphate
3/8 cup Epsom Salts
1/4 cup sweet lime (dolomite)
1/4 azomite (trace elements)
1 tablespoon powdered humic acid
1.5 cups greensand
2 tblsp great white

Nice recipe... except (IMO), with all that "N" (guanos/manure) I don't think 1/4 cup of dolomite will be nearly enough. If it were me, I would have thrown in at least 4-5 cups.... and 4-5 lbs of crushed oyster shell. At least, that's what I do when I make mine.

I make my own cal phos to use a foliar spray. So that should eliminate the need for oyster shells. I have been stocking up on crab and oyster shells for the next batch I make though. I wasn't sure about dolomite so I didn't want to over do it.

Always better to be cautious, IMO. Still, with or without the foliar spray (which feeds the plant - not the microbes/TLO), I would add a lot more lime. Respectfully, JMHO.

It has already been cooking for 34 days. Is it too late to add more now? I was planning on using it in about 2 weeks

That is cutting it pretty close... but, it will be close to "just enough" time for the dolomite, which is usually about three weeks. If it were me, I would still put it in there, even if you have to use it in two weeks. :peace:

Great Advice X ....
Levers Recipie is Producing some Amazing harvest .. as Im about to finish up the First true Plant in TLO ...seems i need To keep it Watter ..than Other grows ..

Using a very similar recipe and have had it composting now for 3 months now. My soil PH is 5 ish

is this normal to have low PH ? because it is climbing up from 4.2.
should I just let it sit and do its thing? or do I add lime and shell?

If you're looking to use it soon I'd add the lime it takes a while to become active anyways.

lets say I leave it set.
will it even out?
how long will it take?
