Harvest & Curing The time we all work so hard for. Achieving the Perfect Cure!

As a noobee whose gonna be growing soon i'm finding your "the perfect cure" so good.

Sorry to clog up the page with this compliment but a simple "like" was simply not sufficient. (Tho you get that too!)

I just gotta say this . . . . Thank you!

Thanks Thai buddha man, i may well seek your help if i get jammed up after i start my grow, which hopefully will be soon.

Though happily i've recently discovered that if i tap into the web/AFN with any autoflower -noobee questions that i have, then most of the time my questions get answered,

plus AFN is full of "juicy" sticky threads n links n forums covering nearly all of the subjects i need to learn about autos.

But like i say, "nearly all" so if i get really jammed up over something, i certainly will take you up on your very kind offer to help.

Love.

PLANET X.

tbm, my silverback friend..i used this method for my first grow/cure..which was fully documented here on AFN. Anyhow, I went with this exactly for the first of 3 plants and it seemed to dry too much..so i then cut the hang time by 2 days (4 days total in 55% RH) then into a paper bag for 2-3, then into jars..it worked best in my experience when they went into the jar at around 70% RH and then let them slowly get down to 65% by burping. Now ive got the perfect nugs holding firm at 64%-65% for 2+ months now. Just hoping to help. I just did all this about 2 months ago, now im harvesting some photo's in 2 days and im gonna do the same exact thing..ill keep this thread posted on my results.:wiz:

Ace sticky ive just put my first ever harvest purple kush into jars and wanted the confirmation on rh and times to burp ive got it now off TBM  :peace: Si

Hey TBM, I've got some buds hanging now, the RH is about 59% I have them in my cab, and I've got the extractor fan running, I turned it off and the RH went to 85% in the first day, it seems less now, but I am wondering will the air circ cause them to dry too quick? Or can I leave the fan (a 150mm ruck) on and not affect the buds by overdrying them, they still feel sticky after two days. Thanks for this thread.

insert, put them in a paper baggy now for a couple days, keep the extractor fan going...theyll be great to go into the jars @ 70%...trust me! Just try to keep that closet rh% down!

hey thai,

i remember reading somewhere that you were trying to perfect a curing method for high humidity climates using boveda packs and tupperware type containers. did anything good ever come from that?

thanks.

Usually what the digital units recommend is using the Boveda calibration packets. (I know I sound like a Boveda salesman!)

You should ask them for commission  as I've just gone and bought some 62% for my harvest in Mid Sep. Have a cheap hygrometer to get my buds close to the right RH then in the with packets and voila - job done :booya:

I've been following TBM's dry & cure method and very happy with results. AAMOF...I have approx 8 oz at various stages of cure right now. I use a slow dry method in a diy bin...a good solid/dense nug will take about 10 days to go from dry bin to the next step of 'paper sacking', jaring, burping etc. My preffence is that all my numbers get to my desired goal (55-57%) before permanently jaring for long term cure with 62% bovedas thrown in.......Some of my 6-8 month cure jars definitely are proof it all works very well.

Most of the people I know just smoke their stuff too soon...they don't know what they are missing. I have a family of friends who smoke their stuff NOW...sometimes still wet !
I love it when I open an aged jar...a real VAPE pleasure is coming....
