update 4-D rock 7/17
  • Hey all, we’ve been having some wicked wind over the last few weeks. Have had to strategically move the pot around to prevent them from being damaged. But things have been going pretty well considering the slow/rough start.

I think I may have missed a week looking through my pics but here are the ladies at week 6.

and here they are today at week 7

The fugue state on the left really shot up. It was the runt of the two in the beginning but showed some impressive stretch in the last couple weeks. The Cream Manderine XL I’m slightly disappointed it isn’t...well...more XL. But going back to the rough weather at the beginning, it’s not surprising that it may not have reached its full potential. It did bush out alot more though, whereas the FS Stayed fairly thin and lean.
Another difference I’ve noted is that the CMXL has always had very perky leaves, always pointing up and a little bit of curled serrations from the strong sun. The FS leaves have almost never stopped being somewhat droopy. Weak stems maybe? Or just another strain feature, who knows.

Been checking out the pics on this thread and wow guys, keep up the impressive work. Happy growing!

  • UPDATE- good morning y’all! Heres some early morning rainy day pics of the girls receiving love from above from mother nature. Looks like the storm and high winds the othernight made gorilla girl weak in the knees... shes solid though! Gave her some support. AP seems to be unphased by the storm! And WW...? Skinny but truckin along.

These girls are on cruise control! So little fuss and bother, I almost feel guilty! All but younger Strawberry Amnesia have shown sex earlier this week...
Most got more LST and tune-up's, some lower node stripping, more to come still,... Pineapple is a notably different looking plant, especially from her sister at a friends place,... so much so I'm very tempted to contact @Seedstockers_Mischa and send pics in to see what the heck is the deal here- Not complaining about the plant at all, I really like her unusual looks, and best of all, not a bit of training needed, she has shaped all on her own! Her sister looks more like a stretched version of the F99 x BLR...

  • Hey friends...I'm throwing my hat in the ring a little late, but I think I have all my ducks in a row to do this right! Nice work everyone thus far, super fun to see the talent and variety we have going on in this battle!!!

I am 6 weeks into an outdoor organic grow with 4 Mephisto strains. I have been posting weekly updates for my entire grow here: https://www.autoflower.org/threads/outdoor-organic-mephisto-grow-in-northern-climate.77638/

and then figured out how to blog and so my weekly updates from weeks 4 and 5 are in this blog:

I am entering two Walter Whites and one Alien v Triangle. Here are some thumbnails to catch up with the early stages of growth.
    Week 1: IMG_2763.jpg Week 2:IMG_2780.jpg Week 3----->AVT:IMG_2828.jpg WW1:IMG_2835.jpg WW2:IMG_2836.jpg

At this point you can see that the AVT I'm entering has been a tall, leggy thing ever since she popped out of the soil. The first of my two Walter White plants has been vigorous and bushy for its entire life, but #2 was a runt with slow, warped growth for the first 3-4 weeks.

    Week 4:
    AVT:IMG_2878.jpg WW1:IMG_2887.jpg WW2:IMG_2888.jpg

    Week 5:

    Overview: IMG_2915 (1).jpg AVT:IMG_2922.jpg WW1:IMG_2921.jpg WW2:

And finally here we are at week 6. This is now current and my first photographs snapped with the battle code. [Edit:forgot the germ date...6/6 for all of these! Will add to my card next week...sorry!] I hope folks can lend me a little flex since I have clearly documented my whole grow elsewhere on this forum...

First up AVT, my tallest lady at 33":
    IMG_2972.jpg

    Next is Walter White #1:
    IMG_2973.jpg

And lastly is Walter #2. She used to be a runt, but then she started flowering almost 2 full weeks later than the rest of her peers...so she looks to me like she is going to outgrow them by quite a bit in the end!! She is as big as all the rest of them but is definitely not done stretching yet!
    IMG_2976.jpg

Thanks all, I hope I'm not breaking any rules and I am excited to see the rest of these grows as they progress! Nice work everyone!!

  • UPDATE? Decided to say screw what mother nature is doing... gonna use the one gal solution of 4gMC,1/4 tsp BE & 2tsp molasses for each plant one to two times a week. Gotta do what i gotta. Here’s some sunny day picks of the two in the wild.

  • @Waira @Dinafem-Mark Weekly update on Dinafem Critical + 2.0 and Green Poison FF, plus non comp C+2.0.

Great weather lately for the plants. Temperatures in mid to upper 70's with lots of sol.:cool1:

One thing I would like to see is photoperiods have the latitude listed that they were grown at. Or the amount of nighttime they need outside before going into flower, instead of generalizations like mid September to October. Growing at 49 degrees north isn't close to the same as 35 degrees north. I'm kinda thinking now I would have been better off just going with 4 Critical+2.0's.

Here's the group photo with the C+2.0 in the 5 gallon bag and Green Poison FF in the earth - All receive Mega Crop nutes.
    720.jpg

Green Poison FF topped and a bit of training. Growing into a nice little bush.
    720a.JPG

And the other GP. A bit different pheno :eek1:
    720b.JPG

And the Dinafem Critical +2.0 that was topped and is on day 50 I think it is. I spent a few days in a row picking lil black nogoodbuggers specks off the bottom side of leaves, as some leaves were starting to look like swiss cheese
    720c.JPG

And here's the non comp Critical+2.0 around day 72. Soon time to start checking trichomes :joy:

Ok thats all for this week. Good growing all!

I like kind bud and kind peoples :d5:
