Hey friends...I'm throwing my hat in the ring a little late, but I think I have all my ducks in a row to do this right! Nice work everyone thus far, super fun to see the talent and variety we have going on in this battle!!!

I am 6 weeks into an outdoor organic grow with 4 Mephisto strains. I have been posting weekly updates for my entire grow here: https://www.autoflower.org/threads/outdoor-organic-mephisto-grow-in-northern-climate.77638/

and then figured out how to blog and so my weekly updates from weeks 4 and 5 are in this blog:

I am entering two Walter Whites and one Alien v Triangle. Here are some thumbnails to catch up with the early stages of growth.

At this point you can see that the AVT I'm entering has been a tall, leggy thing ever since she popped out of the soil. The first of my two Walter White plants has been vigorous and bushy for its entire life, but #2 was a runt with slow, warped growth for the first 3-4 weeks.

And finally here we are at week 6. This is now current and my first photographs snapped with the battle code. [Edit:forgot the germ date...6/6 for all of these! Will add to my card next week...sorry!] I hope folks can lend me a little flex since I have clearly documented my whole grow elsewhere on this forum...

Next is Walter White #1:

And lastly is Walter #2. She used to be a runt, but then she started flowering almost 2 full weeks later than the rest of her peers...so she looks to me like she is going to outgrow them by quite a bit in the end!! She is as big as all the rest of them but is definitely not done stretching yet!View attachment 1215172

Thanks all, I hope I'm not breaking any rules and I am excited to see the rest of these grows as they progress! Nice work everyone!!
grew one Walter White indoors in a solo cup and it turned out great. I think outdoors in good conditions could produce real great plants.

@Waira (ladies update is sunday)

:dancer:Love the buds of HBHz beaufiul brown hairs frosty appearance just the kind i like

Other ladies are heathly as an ox, lol that saying is old but i guess ox are healthy tough creatures maybe
Those hbhz buds look amazing! If mine come out looking anything close to that Ill be impressed lol.
:toke: thanks mates! I said it before, but it bares repeating: I'm kicking myself for not going this route with KIS Organics sooner - :baghead: :haha:
It really is like cheating, not having to manage the nutrients, read the plants, tinker and tweak, remember WTF did or didn't go in, etc.,... the real proof in the pudding is, admittedly, yet to come -- transition (often trouble starts around then), and blooming/finish,... but I have a good feeling about this! I still plan to give some occasional PK supp's as per recommendations by KIS for best results... I'm totally unconcerned about yield, it's quality I want more than anything!

'Drew, have you done a little sugar leaf rub to test aroma yet?
outdoor update I have already harvested a few of the auto's last weekend and plan to take my battle plants soon probably this week or next. Im posting harvest pics today with the card in case Im too busy when the time comes to harvest this year has been crazy busy and I have not journaled or logged as much as usual. I do have a few of the photo's that are now over 6 ft tall and very wide! All of my outdoor photo's have sexed and started into preflower stretch all of the fast flowering plants are doing some crazy ass super slow flower thing and still a bit of vegging going on their with them. So I made a mistake and cut down the Bloody Cheese battle plant a few days ago when I noticed the top bud looked like she was on the verge of rotting so I did not get a pic of the card with that one OOPS! I did just get a jeweler's loupe I have grown for decades without one just bye feel and good judgement with feel and time and so on but from looking at the trics on these and guessing I would say im roughly 5% on amber and I do often prefer an early harvest buzz.

:spels:---- daaayamn! They chunked and frosted up beautifully Jean-O, very nicely done man- :d5: ... What's not to love about those auto hashbats! I can't wait to see them trimmed up and dry,... Do you have your porn shoot game on yet? :eyebrows:

So, the CBD Crack, BChz and Black Gannie are your official live shots? If so, and you're happy with them, I'll get the final pic depot thread started someplace (for us managers)... I think you're the first one in brotato chip! ... Don't sweat the code card either....
Photo's girls are gearing up for prime time! .... the PH CBD is turning out super good, gonna be some great med's coming off her :yay:
....Monster plants are fun to look at, but I think you're in a better place with them this year my friend,... They are phat and happy as you please, but without the damn forest to manage and sweat over for security, vermins, etc.... -- to say nothing of the epic ass-kicking you take at harvest time!
Dinafems Quick Kush has been in flower for what seems like forever already not a whole lot going on their yet but day light is fading and she should take off soon these FF plants have put on the longest pre flower show I have ever seen. I have been struggling with PM on this plant for quite some time now and have just ordered some green cure off the net because everything I have thrown at her as only kept the PM from going crazy and taking over not killed it off yet. I don't want to use baking soda on her because she does have pistols all over her and from my experience the baking soda kills off the pistols completely so milk and H2O2 and essential oils have kept it calm now I want to kill it off before any of my other plants go into flower.
On these FV's of Dinafem/HSO, I have to say they are not behaving like they should, and I don't blame you for cocking a brow at them,... None of the Sweet nor the Dutch Passion Think Fast (excellent BTW), did this "in-between" stage thing. Their behavior was on point with any other regular photo, maybe triggering a bit sooner, but who knows what the parents are like... Remember that Gorilla Breath I had last year? She triggered sooner than any photo's I've had to date, talking 1 week+ sooner here,....and finished is 5 weeks! Too bad her mold resistance was piss-poor... Anyway, what I'm saying is the verdict is still out on these FV's of theirs,... I think you'll be fine for end results, but what a wonky path they took! .... You see how the Red Mandarine is behaving, that's the "model" IMO -
The fungal wars- :cuss:Always a dice-toss it seems, huh! Some are just plain weak against them, a fact often "hidden" from descriptions...fuckers!
Preventatives seem to be a big hammer on them; regular foliars, and some of those microbial agents can be helpful in keeping that shit in check, especially for PM,... It's not too late either! I don't think Actinovate and Armory were very helpful for bud rot botrytis, but I hear good feedback on PM,... The caveat is it's not really curative, it's more preventative/suppressing... I finding they go two ways: either as consumers of molds, or as mass-competitors for space and resources with they, crowding/starving them out....:greenthumb:

You're all set for entry too, so Welcome and have some fun! There's no other Comp like this one on the whole site, and this year it's bigger than ever :smoking:...

Yes those are my live shots on the autos. I think im going to buy a leaf blower n blow the condensation off the plants in the am at sunrise n hopefully that will help with the pm. Cold night super hot humid days gotta love growing in Michigan lol.

update kyote 7/20
@Waira @Dinafem-Mark Weekly update on Dinafem Critical + 2.0 and Green Poison FF, plus non comp C+2.0.

Great weather lately for the plants. Temperatures in mid to upper 70's with lots of sol.:cool1:

One thing I would like to see is photoperiods have the latitude listed that they were grown at. Or the amount of nighttime they need outside before going into flower, instead of generalizations like mid September to October. Growing at 49 degrees north isn't close to the same as 35 degrees north. I'm kinda thinking now I would have been better off just going with 4 Critical+2.0's.

Here's the group photo with the C+2.0 in the 5 gallon bag and Green Poison FF in the earth - All receive Mega Crop nutes.
720.jpg

Green Poison FF topped and a bit of training. Growing into a nice little bush.

And the other GP. A bit different pheno :eek1:
720b.JPG

And the Dinafem Critical +2.0 that was topped and is on day 50 I think it is. I spent a few days in a row picking lil black nogoodbuggers specks off the bottom side of leaves, as some leaves were starting to look like swiss cheese
720c.JPG

And here's the non comp Critical+2.0 around day 72. Soon time to start checking trichomes :joy:

Ok thats all for this week. Good growing all!
