Completed The Outdoor Auto/Photo Competition 2020 and Winner Announcements

That’s some awesome auto there! Love the fact you’re washing the buds too. I do that with all my outdoor plants. What process or method do you use?
thx bro :toke: she'z def frossssty af! :yoinks: i took a lead from @Illini4life & do a three bucket process...h2o2/water in first bucket, bakin soda/lemon juice/water in second bucket & plain rinse water in the third...i let the budz soak in each bucket 20-30m, lightly dunkin/swirlin every few min'z & do the rinse twice...workz a treat! clean budz are happee budz :soak: :smiley1: ppp

:yeahthat: all lukewarm at most too, that old video with the guy using hot water is just idiotic, it'll fuck with the trich heads and terp's!
I'm a bit more lazy, using RO water+ the lemon juice/baking soda (still haven't figured out what the deal is with that combo? BS neutralizes the lemon's acid, maybe a surfactant action too?), and a drop or two of Coco-Wet (wetting agent), then clear water dunk...
I found of you hold the stem base and bud parallel to your arm, you can do a pendulum type swing and use some gently applied centrifical force to expel excess water, no harsh shaking... but it's hard on the arms, and tricky to accelerate and slow down without sheering force mashing the buds! Lay them out in the Sun on paper or something thin/absorbent, then onto the mesh rack....

Few shots of my 9lb hammer having the sun has been wonderful for this season of Oregon grown

Dude, no worries on timing and such, code cards are more about keeping jokers from trying shit,... but with fully journaled plants we can be pretty certain you aren't body swappin' on us- :crying:.... Just make sure you take your best pics when you can, pick one or two and let me know specifically so's I can log them in back... the Poll pics are the final word so speak them well- :smoking:...for live shots: trimmed/untrimmed, attached to the plant still or cut free, it's all good,...
Staged harvest, washing = :greenthumb:

good timing on ur reply, lol, cuz i ended up doin the whole chop today, whew! long story short, i looked again today & suddenly, it was all about -> plantwide amber alert! :yoinks: spent the whole long, hot afternoon choppin, trimmin, washin & hangin...i'm fuckin beat! total wet weight was around 78gr, plus 2-3gr of trim, so probly lookin at 3/4 oz dry, idk  as far as smell, i'm no good at describin smellz, but i'm pretty sure the neighborz will be glad she'z down now, so the whole place don't smell like a skunk outside anymore :crying: and hey, as far as "best picz", hell, i ain't choozy, so i'll leave it up to u  here'z a couple more jus fer shitz-n-gigglez & i'll make my final dry weight post in a few dayz, choo-choo! :headbang: ppp

:woohoo1::woohoo::cooldance: Both landed safely! :clapper::clapper::clapper: .... very nicely done amiga, you played this just right!
....I'm with you, it was the smart move to snag'm while the snaggin's good,... how many times have we seen somebody push it just a little too far and have disaster come to town :yoinks:...
You know, Jacqui' looks a lot like that C99a from last year, remember? Super shaggy with fine leaves in the colas; cut it away and she sparkles like a talent show host!
...good on the drying Missy,... Have you tried the lighter weight paper bags yet? I found if your RH% is near the sweet spot, the thinner one breath better and dry a bit faster,... thick works marvels when the RH% is too low. This year I'm thinking about how to dry differently, trimming, all that stuff,... work depending, I may not be able to deal with a plant all in one day. If I had a good, clean spot to hang dry, I'd be tempted! I'd still cut most fans off, they are usually pretty grubby and when dry, I can see the dusty crap coming off them when disturbed... I usually do a wash, but may not be able to this year.
I'm toying with putting up a sort of tent/canopy with mosquito netting to keep the fucking bud worms out! there's some figuring to do on that still though, how to rig something fast, cheap and easy up at the clients place.... Hmmmm!

Hey there W-Dawg!

Thanks for the happy vibes! Yeah, just no way I was going to lose them at the end...
The Jack is quite shaggy, lots of leaves sticky out, but underneath, yeah, there's still a lot of calyxes in there.
She should look like that C99, they're family!
That C99 was a cutie though, lovely overall shape.

As for the bags, it worked okay for the early branches cut, so just continuing.
It was actually a little faster than I thought, but should be perfect for these bigger buds and stems.
No option to hang in the air here, so this is the best I can do.
Should keep their shape better than just laying them down flat.

Luckily we were airing out the bedroom, had the tatamis off the floor, fully cleaned,
so just did all of this on the clean wooden under-floor.

I've had remarkably few / little / no bugs this year.
Just some snails when it rains -- there was a little one on a tiny lower bud when I harvested!!!
Those snails are a killer for seedlings, after that, very few bugs.
I think it's partly because it's urban/city space as well, not the forest.

My conditions growing here -- so different from most of you in North America and Europe.
Different climate, weather, temps, humidity, bugs, laws, culture.
I think I'm getting a good idea now of how to do an outdoor guerilla grow here.
Probably just in time for me to move to a new location!!!

i uze jus room temp dist water meself...and, as far as expellin excess water, i jus twirl the stem base back-n-forth between me fingerz...ez pz & workz a treat  then yup, i hang em in the sun for the rest of the day to get em down to reg "fresh" wetness, then they get hung up inside for the rest of the dry cycle  ppp

:drool:ooooo I want to give her SUCH a pinch! :eyebrows: ..... I dig those monster calyxes Dank', nice one here...
