I swear, germ' issues are like some sort of curse...@Waira , yeah I am in… just gotta get something germinated. Might do auto, but definitely photoperiod. AH or CA from wild bill stash. Had so many problems germing in solos I am going to get jiffy pellets today. Also resurrecting the old seedling cabinet. Think the other closet is too hot. I’ll have a pic when something pops up.

Riot cubes have a better rep J', I used to joke about "Iffy Pellets" because of the hit and miss results I've heard about over the years. To this day some folks swear by them,...others just swear!
What sort of high T are we talking about? Even low 80's is OK...
Bad soil batches happen too, even soilless Promix which has been fingered as a culprit several times with other grower mates... I can't say what/why with that, as it's peat, but it's hard to not draw conclusions when said growers change media or get a confirmed new (fresher usually) lot # and thing get right back on track...
These days whether fresh or old, I still scuff the seeds (including the case seams and pointy end where the split starts) by hand, difficult as that
is

I'll make a weak soaking solution with Si, fulvic, and kelp (for the hormones) using low (not no) ppm water, like drinking water... Super pure water (RO/Di) is an osmotic problem to be avoided... Overnight, maybe 12 hours max to speed hydrate them, then into the germ' cup and TV cabinet where T's are upper 70's typically. Usually 3-4 days and they break surface...
Awesome to see you'll run the AHz or Crazian! I'm doing the latter, gotta see what the Jean-O injection of Kushiness does for this Thai-Haze dominant cross -

Just be mindful of her semi-auto nature which comes from both sides, and the light hours she'll be under from hatch to transition into OD's. You don't want a several hour sudden drop between these stages, as it may trigger a bloom-->reveg snafu that usually doesn't really work out well in the end... Most of the breeders I know warn about not going over 18/6 regardless for semi's and even early photo's as they often have a hair trigger for blooming.
My semi's start life with the auto's, about 18/6, but for no more than 2 weeks before I start to ease them into ambient light hours.
