Lighting The new DIY Section

I been reading this over and over and watching videos i am gunna build a 4 cob panel just gunna get things sorted this end and outta the way then mayby see if any guys on here have an old led panel for sale that will be nice for a 3500k 4 cob line up ......... seems cheapest way out there

Maybe you can get some deals on ebay.
You can use CPU coolers which cost under 5€ each.
Or can buy heatsink bar which is around 40€ for a meter. Enough for 4-6 COBs with little 8cm fan on it.
 
I got old pc proc heat sinks laid about its gettin drivers that gets me hense panel conerting

Thanks for the help BigSmo, what a difference, little more wiring to do to put 2 on each switch but ran out of connectors. Still seeing spots from the test fire lol.

Wow that was quick! There are tons of options when it comes to hacking a panel but I do feel like this is one of my favorite ways. Using 1/2 of the drivers output which should add to the drivers life. Not to much light where the panels over heating due to so much wattage and just the fact that it’s one cob per driver and things have space. Plus powering 50v cobs at 750ma gets you a bit more wattage than the 36v. Got me thinking as I do have one mars 600 left but only 2 drivers. I may do another 1812 build here shortly.
