Photography The Macro Thread

I just got a used Nikon powershot with a 40x zoom, trying to get steady shots with in macro mode, I think a tripod would help greatly, here's a male pollen sack on a stone dragon I managed to get, followed by a nug of well cured deep blue c

Gotta show you this..the photos aren't good because I couldn't get the bugger to pose...:biggrin:..and I had to crop the chuff out of them..

a Pink spider...:yoinks: an Amazingly Bright Pink spider...

I might not have Caught it that time....:photog:..but I know where it lives now...I'll set the tripod up..and Wait...:hurry:

pardon me for taking thread off track.but could i ask if i remember Mossy uses a canon bridge 420is ? but also has a flatbed scope type thing.if so can the canon get in close to trichs ?

Have you tried sticking a magnifying glass on the end of your lens?
