Lemon Z - Dutch Passion - Growing Contest 24/25 - EU/UK/US

WOOF!!!!! remember i'm just a casual grow her and show her and not part of the grow off......... Antonio already knows this, and just letting those know who were not aware. If Antonio needs help to make a decision i will help out.

Harvest day Lemon Z, dense buds are Rot resistant because I recently hit some 80% RH days and they are ok! The aroma is awesome citrusy fuel.

My buds are so dense. But no rot. I had to anchor all the buds with wire. My one cola was the size of a 12 pack of soda cans. The ones in the box like 7 Up. Gonna make some awesome rosin.

I definitely cut my veg a little short, if the deadline wasnt the 15th i would have vegged at least two more weeks, but not knowing how long flowering would take etc, i played it on the safe side to finish on time.
Understood and fair enough. We will do it with the people that have finished their diary up and until now. Rest may finish ofc, but will not be taken into the judging anymore.

Lovely work man  nice :growing:

Don’t wait on me I don’t do it for trophies and prizes. I already feel like I won just getting opportunity to grow a strain I would’ve never tried on my own. I’m glad I did and I’m sorry I couldn’t get them done. But I’m happy with how things are going and I will continue till the plants are ready just like I said before. Thank you @Antonio_DutchPassion for the seeds and you guys made a a great strain even better I really enjoyed it and thank you to everyone for help and guidance when needed. I never dreamed I’d win anyways I was hoping to finish and not have to bail out. Congrats to whoever wins I hope everyone had a good grow and show, and if you get the chance to try Dutch Passion’s LemonZ go for it and u won’t be disappointed really top shelf gear.

Just wanna say thanks to everybody who participated! I feel like we all won! For a contest, everybody was respectful and offered any help or guidance that they could to the other growers and it was awesome to be a part of something so great! It was my first grow and show and what a rad group of people to grow a round with! Thank you @Antonio_DutchPassion for putting this on and everybody at AFN for creating a space where things like this can happen! Cant wait for the next!!!

Day 112/65 of flower. The time has come to chop the shorter plant of the two. I plan on chopping the taller one next week. They both were a pleasure to grow, and I believe I could’ve pushed them a lil harder, but I was playing it safe and the plants took care everything I could throw at em. I recommend LemonZ if you like to grow photos or get the opportunity to I highly suggest you give it a try. The buds are very heavy and dense, and smell of lemon candy and fuel that seems to pull u in and makes your mouth water. I’ll update in a week or so to give final dry weight of the first plant, and probably harvest the second one in same post.

Personally, I would wait another week (maximum two), they still have some bulking to do, as well as producing more trichomes and terps!
You can harvest, but if you want the most out of them, leave them a bit longer.

Ladies looking good though!

-----------

For everyone here, I will be announcing the winners in about 2 weeks time, going a much-needed snowboarding break next week, but I will be back soon and you can be sure we will be doing this again in the future!

Thanks for participating, reading and joining the conversation, this community really consists of great growers and people.

We'll be back....:baked:

I fully agree on all points!

This was a good grow to watch! After seeing the way you guys grew this girl I have no excuse of not knocking it out of the park!
I'm really hoping to have my watering down with the new system.
Going to have to change my trimming/training technique with the addition of the under canopy lighting.
I don't think these girls need netting support, but I think it would be helpful when training. Really, the only time I've extensively used netting was on Asian haze outside. It made training a breeze!. I did make some adjustments to the placement of my 4x4 tent and I think I have a bit better and easier access to the backside of the tent. I had to give myself more room back there to place the reservoir for the watering system, CO2 system and worm bin.
Oh Yeah, there's CO2 also. I think I'm pretty much going to just 'high augment', probably around 1000 to 1100. I'll defer to Antonio's recommendations on PPFD to hit them with to maintain minimal fox tailing. I pushed Asian haze fairly hard in the 4x4 Tent and she was right on the verge of too much foxtailing.

I like the ...................
