You don't exhaust hot tent air because you don't want to show air being exhausted (afraid persons seeing a vent will recognize a grow room) and/or are concerned about putting out odor? Even if in a state that's bad for growers, you should be able to put in the window or otherwise install a common portable AC window, drier-type or other temporary vent. Or get stealthy, such as put in just the shell, an empty window AC unit and pipe your exhaust out through that. Exhaust air can simply be passed through an activated charcoal filter to get rid of odors.
Ya its my state! They would bury me under the prison if i got caught here! Why i went from 2 full tents to only 2 at a time! And using a floor ac anytime it kicked on and the small amount of exhaust from it went out the window the whole side of my house reeked like crazy! And that house my window was by backyard fence where no neighbors would be but here my window is almost even with the neighbors garage so can’t have odors escaping! I just need to not grow during the summer when its extra hot out cuz not bad in winter!
You could use a portable ac to help with the temps, but it would have to be a two-pipe system. There's no inside air exchanged with that style. Depending on the neighborhood, you would still have to have vents showing in the window and that could raise questions. It would be easier to hide than a regular window unit. Always put something in front of it to make it not so obvious with a two pipe.
I had a window ac until i got notified by the HOA they aren’t allowed here! Got the 4x4 setup now and haven’t needed to hook the floor ac up here yet! Last place had vaulted ceilings so could fit my tent with multiple extensions on it but it made it super difficult to keep the room cool! So far here only had to turn an oscillating fan on high to keep room comfortable but last house it would be like a sweat lodge in my room without it! My bedroom would be in the 80’s if i didn’t use the floor unit in my room!
