Grow Mediums The Coco Home Thread -- Calling ALL Coco Growers!!!

:thread: A proper coco thread...
I use Plagron coco fibre, never tried blocks.
Used in autopot wick system. Add 50% perlite to give light easy draining mix.
Add inch of clay pebbles at base. Maintain constant pH 5.8 throughout.
I also use airdomes to aerate root system.
Have only used Ionic coco nutes.. I have been told that the autopot nutes are rebranded Ionic nutes. Chosen as they were highly recommended for autopots, dont block tubes and are well priced.
I will however be using Dutch Pro coco flower nutes during flowering of my current grow.
Additional cal mag is advised with coco.
Ease of use of soil and quicker reaction to change like hydro make coco the ideal substrate...simples...:smokebuds:

I've heard a lot about Dutch pro nutes. I'm going to take a look at them. Been seeing some good results with them and I heard they were at a reasonable price as well. If they can produce what's in your avatar I'm sold lol.

Thats Autoblueberry with Ionic coco nutes, will be using DutchPro soon...
Dutch pro make a range of nutes for Autoflowers too, couldnt find much detail on formulation though. They come highly recommended ( and from a Canna agent.. )

This is what i found Duggy about the Dutch pro autoflowering nutes basicly no info, will be glued to yours to see how they go mate :peace:

Mine are the standard coco nutes dex.. I was reluctant to go the AF route due to the lack of info..:smokebuds: There are many who think autos are light feeders and they may have simply made a diluted mix..

Hmm interesting, a lineup for autos. Maybe they have a lineup better suited for an autos veg time and flowering time? Ive had some autos eat more than my photos and some that wanted to be picky as shit and didnt want to eat at all.

Iv thought this as well Duggy. Same for sweet seeds autoflower nutrients, I couldn't understand how they would do it?

Heres a store selling these auto nutes and a little description.they say autos are heavier feeders due to the longer hours of light they recieve compared to photos (in flower ) http://www.onestopgrowshop.co.uk/nu...-a-and-b-hard-water-1-litre.html#.UX1LzMu9KSM
