Coco is where it's at. Inert medium, so ya gotta add all yer nutes. I'm subbed to hear it from the coir crowd though - myself I am a soil guy, but on principle I'm ready to learn all I can, as I'm lead to believe it's quite possibly the most attractive growing medium. I'll try it all eventually, but coco, ebb and flow (drain and flood), and dwc are next. Probably won't muck about with aeroponics, just cause... who does?

I make you right Rebel a soil less Section for us less medium users be a wonderful ide :smokebuds:Maybe it could be add to the hydro Section :booya:,im going to do a wirte up later on my ferro feeds brake down,How i make my feeds up form veg to Bloom,so if anyone is using it i well give u a brake down to get your ppm just right,but i would like to see more info on any other coco growers,as they always room to lean more :smokebuds:,so till later let pass some goodies round to kick of Saturday morning

that's one of the sticking points! some say "not at all". some coco is mixed with trichoderma and other useful microorganisms. successful grows using organic nutrients with coco have been done.
i, as a beginner, haven't done a pure coco grow yet, that's why i want to help evaluate.

About time i found a good coco thread guys, ive just joined and was wondering why its mostly DWC & soil and when i started my diary there was no coco growers watching and found this weird ive got a few soil grows done and ive realy just moved over to coco and im telling you its a doddle, yes you can use organics with it but the hole idea of coco is get chems into it and grow bigger plants...........more bud and with the nutes out just now it is so simple

I personaly use Canna pro+ coco its got alot of goodies in it and with good feeding both chems and organics can and do work together as i use both myself ive got it all down in ma diary, with canna pro+ its straight from the bag into the pot, job done its that simple and no nasties or lumps of wood , you know what i mean soil heads ,lol,
as far as nutes go you start with an a + b grow , a+b bloom that is all thats reqired but as we know we cant leave it at that but would recommend root stim , Mg/cal and PK
the only down side to coco is that you need to water every day , well sometimes i forget and there fine , i mix up a batch of nutes on the sunday job done so when i come in from work its into the groom watering can grab the nutes 5 mins done and sitting haveing ma tea and if something happens to your grow that wk then you just adjust your nutes to suit.
this is the good thing with coco that if you spot something not right you can sort it right away not like soil that might take 2/3/4 days for your fix to get to your plant
i find it eazy to handle clean and basicly you cant over water this is a bonus useing air-pots as it dont piss all over the place like my soil grows ,lol, ive just started a new diary ( in the sig ) if yous want a looksy
