@Arthur they are three gallon bags. The pictures were from last monday when I started my flush so I'm thinking I'm going to take them down today. Will a get a larger yield off a 5 gallon bag? @Rwg111 this is my first grow I'm super happy with it and thanks but I cant take all the credit I've had alot of help from guys like @St. Tom and @Arthur. But the strain is strawberry cheesecake. I ordered and bunch of autos from seedman and they sent me a free 3 pack of these so I figured those would be the perfect plants to start learning with. Like I said I think in going to cut them today so I'll let you know in about a week what my dry yield is. But the buds and very dense and smell like a grapefruit. Thanks for all the positivity boys. One last question when I cut them do they need to go into a dark room to cure or can there be light?

Depends on the strain. I just took 3 down that were in 1 gallon bags, so... my perception is jaded after 70 days of looking at 9 1 gallon bags.
Not counting hydroponics, as below, so above. Root ball area can have a direct impact on the overall size of a plant. I normally run 3 gallon indoor, and 10 gallon out. The big jump is more to deal with root temp than root area.

@St. Tom how dry should the buds be before I put them in the jar to cure they are still a little wet but I was reading you dont want them to be to dry

You dont want them to be to dry this is the tricky time have you got any rh meters you want your buds to be around 62 pcent is my target and depending how far past 62 they are determines if I leave the jar open for whatever amount of time

@St. Tom I do not have a rh meter. They have been in bags since Monday night. Would it be a bad idea to put them in jars and keep then open for a day or two then close them and start burping them ?
