Bring your light or flash as close to the subject as you can and still keep it out of frame. Distance of light to background should be at least 2-3x the distance of light to the subject. Remember that light falls of inverse square. If the background is really far even a white wall can appear black.

The more distant your background is behind the plant, the less its texture will show, also shooting at a higher F stop will make the light fall off even more.

It's been a while since i last posted and wanted to share some of my grows this year.

I now use autopots with advanced nutrients using coco and have see huge difference in my grow

Anyway here's some gelato 41 seedstockers, it's named as panty punch but that's my mistake and PP to follow
 
Here's a monster blue moby by seedstockers, she got as high as 6ft and her cola was huge. I thought she was going to seed up on my but I'm still smoking her and yet to find one
