Ok trying again with Mother Earth coco peralite and epsoma EWC blended in at about 10% to start these seeds in rootmakers starter containers. Have a seedling warmer mat underneath them and a cool mist humidifier under an HLG 65 4000k spectrum QB. I will transplant when the roots fill out these containers into rain science bags. I have started 4 seeds
1 - rocbud passion punch auto
1 - rocbud fringe auto
1 - rocbud grape god auto
1 - rocbud purple scoops auto
so far no fungus gnats and 100% germination in 3 days. And hopefully the coco dries out faster and I don’t overwater and stunt the babies.
so far so good the coco coir accepts water very well and I have a better method of watering now.
I did a 30 minute seed soak in Urb Naturals and a pinch of Great White Myco in thehole where I planted the seed - this seemed to really help germination they shed the seeds quick and easy this time
I will ammend the substrate with calmag from homegrown bokashi and some doctor earth dry amendments when I transplant the babies. I will begin LST as I see fit depending how they are coming along
I have EWC and oly mountain fish compost from build a soil on the way to ammend and make teas with as well
should be a simple easy run this time! Cheers all
