Ok trying again with Mother Earth coco peralite and epsoma EWC blended in at about 10% to start these seeds in rootmakers starter containers. Have a seedling warmer mat underneath them and a cool mist humidifier under an HLG 65 4000k spectrum QB. I will transplant when the roots fill out these containers into rain science bags. I have started 4 seeds
1 - rocbud passion punch auto
1 - rocbud fringe auto
1 - rocbud grape god auto
1 - rocbud purple scoops auto

so far no fungus gnats and 100% germination in 3 days. And hopefully the coco dries out faster and I don’t overwater and stunt the babies.

so far so good the coco coir accepts water very well and I have a better method of watering now.

I did a 30 minute seed soak in Urb Naturals and a pinch of Great White Myco in thehole where I planted the seed - this seemed to really help germination they shed the seeds quick and easy this time

I will ammend the substrate with calmag from homegrown bokashi and some doctor earth dry amendments when I transplant the babies. I will begin LST as I see fit depending how they are coming along

I have EWC and oly mountain fish compost from build a soil on the way to ammend and make teas with as well

should be a simple easy run this time! Cheers all

Day 4
For the first couple days I misted the bottom of the containers through the openings only. Yesterday I misted the top of containers once or twice. Today I gave first true watering (just a teeny bit lol) it had URB naturals, dynagro Protekt silica, 100% juice coconut water and aloe juice made from inner fillet. This worked great on my last run I just forgot to pot them up. Not making that mistake this time - Build A Soil goodies arrived today so I’ll be mixing a bunch of this up today with some nutes. Hopefully I see some roots in the starting containers really soon cause I will be ready to transplant these by this weekend.

Day 7 - slightly overwatered last time - also gave small amount of Fox farms big bloom organic liquid nutes since they are in coco. They stretched a bit on me I had the light too high - a couple days ago I lowered it. I am expecting that these will be ready to transplant by the weekend. I like these root maker containers - it seems the roots are growing outward toward the sides of the container faster than down so the root pruning concept is working well

Day 11 - oops I did it again - overwatered and stunted the girls - think I am just gonna wait until I make it to preflower before starting another journal - I have some work to do on improving my standards and methods - this is my fault, but I know I can do better

Awwww man if you ain’t absolutely right on that!!! You da man and I needed to hear that :pass::d5:

Well I transplanted them they look sad as shit but I don’t think I shocked them badly. I did overwater but I think I also waited too long to transplant - it’s day 12 they had healthy roots - I bet they are kinda hungry too - anyways there was mycelium growing all over my containers I filled the other day maybe they will blast off from here ? They ain’t dead let’s see what happens I got 2-3 weeks to get these girls a foot tall before they bloom - maybe they will make a comeback now
