New Grower Stoned Noob 3rd attempt auto micro run

Pulling up a chair, bro! :smoking:

Day 20 picking up speed, some color has returned and it’s moving faster each passing day - seems happy in the big container with nutes (ya don’t say) but hopefully things keep trending in this direction so I end up with at least a marginal yield ! I believe in her

Day 21 - gave her the normal dechlorinated tap water with coconut water and aloe juice and BTI - also added a 1/2 ml of grow big (veg nute by fox farm) and 2 ml of big bloom (basically EWC and Guano in a liquid form also by fox farm) because now that she is recovering and looking so much better time is of the essence and I decided to give her a small push. However I went well below the recommended dosage. She looks great. I hope she keeps snowballing like this - my hope is that she will get to be a foot tall by day 35-40 - not gonna do any training whatsoever since she has lost so many days already

Day 24 purple scoops started showing sex yesterday and hasn’t need anything for a while because the barley mulch straw on top is keeping the container relatively moist underneath the top inch of soil - that and having a controller on my fan now without so much negative air pressure

Day 10 - Fastbuds Grapefruit - I gave it 120 ml of dechlorinated tap water yesterday with 1/2 ml of urb naturals and 1/2 ml of seaweed sugar from homegrown bokashi - it’s roots are finally established and the first set of true leaves are starting to pop out

Day 2 - TwistedTrees Crinkle Cut joins the party - I like this one a lot and it showed a will to live and a survival of the fittest trait by surviving some hardcore damping off - I didn’t count that as day 1 because it was laying over and hadn’t even stood up yet all yellow and mushy but it somehow recovered in less than 24 hours next day was standing up straight so this one is showing genetic dominance already IMO

I have one more open container and new gear on the way so I will decide which of those to plant when all my mail comes this week cheers thanks for checking in , supporting and stopping by fam

Day 26 purple scoops got some LST still no water - doing just fine - full gender expression now , I believe it should start stretching for the next 2 weeks ish before bloom begins so I consider this a full recovery may not be huge by the end but it was salvaged and made happy again

Day 12 Fastbuds Grapefruit - I gave her 1/2 cup of dechlorinated tap water ph’d to 6.4 with 1/2 tbs of coconut water and aloe juice , 1/4 ml of dynagro Protekt and 1 ml of Big Bloom fox farms liquid EWC and guano and kelp - it reacted very positively and I see new growth in less than 24 hours - I suspect my “seedling mix” is severely lacking ammendments and additives - so I gave her an extra push clocking 768 ppm -she took it in stride just fine

Day 4 crinkle cut - nothing to mention - will give water and small amount of nutes tomorrow probably
1614525253499.png

All of these containers were given a aerated compost tea today - 1/2 cup fish compost, 1/2 cup EWC, and 1 tbs molasses and 1 tbs microbe oat blend - I brewed it 24 hours in 1-1.5 gallons of dechlorinated water
Day 27 - responding well to leaf tuck and tie down - cut 1 leaf I couldn’t tuck it so bye

Day 5 - crinkle cut

Also gonna try a coco/peralite grow with hydro nutes and some other goodies I have. I have a rough idea how I’m gonnago about things. Learning how to water and feed nutrients with coco is gonna be a fun new challenge and I might as well learn since I have the space and bottles already.

Day 33 , 18 , and 10

purple scoops was slightly overwatered yesterday - but still growing no problems - I add more tie downs - just hope she keeps delaying bloom to keep getting bigger lol she’s come a long way

Fastbuds grapefruit was too close to the blurple - that sucker is kind of intense - needs to be 18 inches away from seedlings and veg plants at least - she is really squat and has light burn on edge of leaves - reacted positively when I raised the light higher and coming along better now

my dumbass gave a 6 day old baby crinkle cut 1 cup of aerated compost and worm tea and microbes. Bad idea but she’s a trooper hasn’t stopped growing but yea I stunted her with burn for sure I think she will grow through it but just plain water only for the rest of veg on that one lol

annnndddd they hydro special release bean I started in coco died from damping off or something I did removing the seed membrane.....I am gonna start using peroxide in my seed soaks from now on soooo many hard shell seeds I have tried to start and failed I’m tired of it @damien50

Day 41 - paling from the bottom up and small amount of spotting. This began during the “preflower stretch” after veg was finished and gender was on full display. Last couple days she been moving slow. So I figure even tho I thought I gave enough bloom nutrients in my soil, it was slow release amendments and I didn’t have a mineral amendment like azomite or rock dust in this mix. So I gave a 1/4 gallon distilled water with 1/4 tsp root organic bloom terp tea and 1:4 tsp of Bigfoot water in micronized myco. Hopefully she start looking happier but maybe she’s just one of those emo chicks lol

Just a recommendation, we see more grows in the infirmary from runs in coco that have been amended with soil nutes. Soil and coco are 2 different animals and really require 2 different approaches.
If your having problems, stick with what has been proven.
While there are a few that seem to get it to kinda work, the vast majority of plants, even those that run with minimal issues tend to be small and sickly.
(Have yet to see one of these runs that would be considered "cost effective" when it comes to weight+quality.)

Nice thing about treating coco as a hydro medium is if you hit issues, you just flush it out, mix up a new batch of feed at the right numbers and your off. If you can overwater coco, (coco/perlite), I'll buy your next seeds! Have friends that feed every 6 hrs in coco... when I run coco I keep feeds to once a day if possible, but usually end up with feeding every 12 hrs by the end of flower.

Have always seen it as soil is your natural bodybuilder, coco is lifting on steroids, you push push push, maybe push a little more.

Piece of sandpaper rolled into a tube. Put seeds in and shake a bit. Will score them slightly, helps them shed the hull.
