Day 31
I dont think my lst is working too well.
I guess its doing ok at keeping her from being too tall but not getting multiple tops.
I used my soil probe and it seems to be soil ph is still at 7.0 even after switching to tap/distilled 50/50, it may take a few more waterings to change i guess?
Using the moisture meter it looks like i will be giving 6oz water every 2 days.
Day 31
Gave 6oz water with 0.05ml mammoth p.(will do 0.05ml with every watering, so every 2-3days)
Tomorrow she will get overgrow spray(every 3 days)
She seems to still be having some minor issues with leaves.
Let me know what you think.
She doesn't seem to be wanting to grow side branches. Im not sure what causes this. At 31 days there isnt much time for those to develop. You could just have a plant with bad genetics, it happens. She will make you some buds, just not a lot.
I might give it a little bend to get a little extra light to some lowers. You might want to just let it grow without stress to get the best bud formation.
Day 33
Soil ph still seems to be at 7.0
Gave 6oz water with 0.05ml mammoth p.
I noticed a few roots sticking out the bottom of the fabric pot now, none out the sides yet.
Smorf unless you don't have the room, like dudeski said just let her grow out, you can bend her back if you want or just untie the bottom and she will somewhat straighten herself out, branching is more common with certain genetics not everything branches some just want to be pines tree shape, some spruce like, while others are like a willow or a bush and just go everywhere once they hit a certain age/height, for reference i only train if i need to keep things under control like i currently having to due to my plant count with my genetic hunting, if i was running bigger pots id be topping and training to fill out the space while trying to keep them short due to the amount of root space, but saying that a lot of plant structure comes from its genetics, knowing what to do just comes with experience and playing around to know whats capable.
Now that aside, you might be underwatering, it's a guess but it's something i might have been noticing with the pics, hard to tell without being there and feeling the soil/mix but saying that i would have roots busting out of the bottom and sides like crazy at 33 days, usually i have roots throwing out the bottom and sides even with bigger pots by 14-21 days, i would try watering more like double the amount at least and then let the pot dry out to the point where say the top 1/2" of soil is dry but just below that its moist to the fingers. And make sure you have the full pot saturated the same. Your soil/mix with the perlite looks like can easily shed too much water if you overwater so go for it.
@Mr. Sparkle i can probably go up to 8oz every two days but anymore than 8oz at a time and i think im going to get excessive run off and i read on kindsoils site that you shouldnt water to runoff.
How do the pics look like im underwatering? Is it because i mostly take pics before i water so the soil always looks really dry?
Im using a moisture meter so i think im watering right, but i could be wrong.
