One of the reasons I thought it would be ok with the one gallon tanks I have is that the small tank would maybe keep the plants from outgrowing the lights. After my first grow, I came to the realization that one gallon of water has a wee bit more room for roots than a gallon of dirt...

Week 8 Update.

Nutes at still just under half strength. I've cut out the CalMag because when it's in there, the PPM just keeps climbing. She's just not taking that much of it up.

1.5 ml/L B-52 and Big Bud, 1.75ml/L Grow/Bloom/Micro

Not really sure when to switch to Overdrive from the Big Bud, but It's still not showing any sign of being near end-of-life.

First pic is a sort-of birds eye view of the supercropped main stem. There's a pretty fat nug coming up from near the middle of the horizontal section.

These are the remaining major colas.

Week 9 update...

Switched from Big Bud to Overdrive today. Also now a smidgen of Cal/Mag until finish. I don't see this going much longer than two weeks with the red pistils starting to appear all over the buds.

You get so used to looking for vertical growth that its easy to miss. And I agree, there is nothing like a series of photos to realize the difference as time passes. One of the reasons I love these grow journals.

it grows up and out during veg and early flower then grinds to a halt.....wait whats going on its stopped growing ? no not really.
late flower still doing nothing ?...oh wait look at pics ohh them buds are getting fat.
a watched kettle never boils,or soomething like that.

Just a short update. Mainly because it surprised and impressed me...

Check this out..

This started off as a few small fans popping up right off the base of the stem. Near where a few branches got chopped. I noticed them right around a week ago. They are not only flowering, but they are actually really frosty for where they sprung up - and how young the growth is.

Pretty cool.

Quick update...

I dug out the USB microscope and took a few pics of some of the more mature flowers.

Lots of cloudy trichs on the older growth, with the expected smattering of clear ones on the newer growth. Haven't spotted any amber yet, but given that this Sunday is the end of week 10 it may just be ready to chop then.

Here are a few shots. Many more (and better) ones coming this weekend.
