It is possible that just by doing what you did and rejecting the package you drew even more unwanted attention your way. He was probably just doing his job like others have said. It is most likely very uncommon for people to reject mail in their name. I bet the mailman will be rememebering your name now.

I dont plan on ordering anything grow related. I nee to decide who I can trust enough to order stuff through their place. Even asking is a risk though because thats someone who knows what im up to regardless of whether or not they agree.. Ill continue to order standard stuff stuffto my place though, so it should be business as usual. If he wants to remember me or snoop thags fine by me. Its the law im more worried about, dirty looks / suspicion doesnt phase me.

I read on another forum that you are supposed to just ask them if you can have a package delivered to their house and lie about what it is. What the hell kind of friend is that?!?!
Yeah im reluctant to bring it up because people run their mouths off without thinking twice... The fact is, the only person I would trust with my life is myself. Its a tricky situation for sure lol
If that suspicion results in a warrant then it absolutely does. I dont mind what my standard post man thinks, but im not going to playaround with some sketchy ass 'substitute'. That was the FIRST time it wasnt my normal guy. No thanks...
Have you thought of opening a PO Box? Make up some inc. or something. When you open a PO box up and fill the form out it asks what names to put on the PO box. You need to show Id to open one so ya put your real name and than say acme electronic inc. (or you get the idea) than have all your mail forward to there. Should raise no suspicion, or go to a ups store or something like that and open a box... Just my :two cents: for a safe addy

I thought about opening a PO box but I would have to still register it under my name. I'm sure it wouldnt be difficult to register it to a fake one, but I like to stick the guideline of "Break one crime at a time". It has done me justice sofar lol. In the not so distant future I do plan on setting up an online business / shell corp to handle a few things.
WHen I spotted the sketchy car the other day I kept tabs on him all day. He was there ALL day, and later that evening I pulled out my binoculars to try and get a good view inside but it was tinted out and I couldnt see inside. I sent my brother out there like 20 minutes later to see what the deal was and he was gone. My regular mail man just came by and dropped off a package today. It appears that things are back to normal. I'll still be on high alert though, and make sure I don't throw away anything suspicious and no light leaks/scent pop up.
Apparently IF it was a controlled delivery, accepting a package is grounds to activate a conditional search warrant. By declining the package voids the warrant. The only information about these controlled deliveries I could find was on body building forums where they ran a string of busts on guys ordering gear through the mail. I can't imagine they would be able to get a warrant for me otherwise, so I HOPE I am in the clear. Just need to play it smart. I would hope that they wouldnt be pulling these tactics on seed orders to locate grows, but I don't trust anybody, especially our government. They are losing this war and I'm sure they will start to ramp up their efforts in a last ditch attempt to save face. Thats how these things tend to play out.
I'm doing all of my web browsing through the TOR browser from now on just to be safe. I'm not exactly sure why I wasn't doing that to begin with. I should just act like everything I order and say online can be monitored. With all of this NSA shit, and the recent article in the NY times about the post recording the information packages being sent, it is better to be safe than sorry.
