Live Stoner Chat Security Compromised by Postal Worker?

I had the same thing happen to me with an Attitude package "you are this person?" blah blah blah.... Like Jackal said you need and should be familiar with your local MJ laws. :peace:

I am familiar which is why I stayed below the 10 plant threshhold.

How did you handle your situation, did you sign for the package?

I suggest no smoking Sativa for a few weeks. Postal workers generally do confirm they have the right address and person when asking you to sign acceptance. Many are too lazy to ask or know you from previous visits.
If it was a cop, then I suspect he had a wire. Was there another car/van parked diagonally across the road(maybe 2 houses away) at the time?

I said it was me and I signed my initials. It was only two 5-Packs and a couple freebies. Don't do anything irrational, give it a few days I think you will feel better about the situation.
Nothing like a little scare to make sure you're on your toes... :smokebuds:

I hate to steer you in the wrong direction here. I know how you feel. The state I live in is very strict against growing weed. I am also a professional so getting busted could ruin my career. Unfortunately because of our corrupt government we have to take a big risk with this hobby. Personally I rely on chance and that's how I ease my own fears. Plus I'm an insurance agent so I constantly weigh risk lol.

You have to ask yourself, what are the odds that the underpaid understaffed USPS and DEA would target you out of thousands of other individuals? If it was some gigantic conspiracy where they're seizing, documenting, and doing surveillance on the hundreds if not thousands of people who's seeds are seized they would have to perform a coordinated bust on everyone at once otherwise people would start posting about it online and find out in time to get rid of their evidence. And I highly doubt the government agencies are even capable of that given the current state of their so called drug war. Most grow busts are usually done by local police and it usually happens due to something stupid. Like domestic disturbance, fire, a buddy getting busted and narcing. At least where I live that's what you always see.

Furthermore, say you do accept the package and it is seeds. That's not a crime because your not admitting to ordering them, your just confirming you live there. I get packages all the time I didn't order, marketing and stuff. Look at the ricin scandals? They didn't charge Obama for ordering ricin lol And as far as I know it's not enough evidence for them to get a warrant to search your mail, electric bill, bank account or premises because you can deny ordering them. The only thing you need to watch for is your trash. They DON'T need a warrant for that.

As far as tipping off the USPS guy. I highly doubt he would call the cops after his delivery and say this guy was acting weird when I tried to deliver his package lol

I really hope I'm right here because in all honesty if the government did want to crack down on us hobby growers it would be very easy for them to find evidence given their resources.

Whatever you decide I wish you the best of luck!

...don't know what more to tell you, guy... Mr. Piggy makes a good point as well about postman's comments, and so did I, and Rob'...
You would think if he remembered my packages, he wouldnt be grilling like that..
---- like I said before, if "they" were sniffing you up, officially, they won't tip you off like that by such blatant stupid commentary... It's not unusual for supervisors, or other carriers to have familiarity with another carriers' routes and loads...they aren't all idiot clones, you know,... do you think he didn't notice how squirrely you were? that would put most (legit) anybody off....I see at least 2-3 different carriers throughout the year... Also, if they were at that point of an investigation, Cops won't bother with an undercover postman, with a load of actual legit mail in it! .....you refused the package after all the awkwardness on your part? I don't know if that helped or hurt, at this point... you see what I'm getting at? -this most likely regular, everyday postal stop may now be something, just because of the twitchy behavior by you,... if the carrier wasn't suspicious before, he might be now, that is if he even cares,...

I don't really have anything to add other than I had security scare begin of June, I quickly harvested what I could and rest of plants I hid outside until I could my grow. Being a med patient I would be willing to fight the good fight, but ultimately who would want to be that person? Not I particularly.
So I'm just sending you a big old karma cloud of a peaceful mind. Everything ALWAYS works out the way its meant to. We might not always see it that way at the time, as what is currently going on sucks but trust the universe has it ALL PLANED ou already. I believe time is nothing more than a way for humans to grasp life.
Sending much love your way!

My concern more was that it was a rogue postal worker, who had opened some of my packages and knew what I was up to. I doubt it was an undercover, but I do not put it past the post office workers to occasionally open packages.
Again, I have ordered HUNDREDS of packages, and there was something very suspicious about the way this guy was acting. Granted I also acted suspicious which certainly didnt help my cause.
I was on my toes because yesterday, I had noticed an unfamiliar vehicle parked outside, facing my house. In the street, not in my neighbors driveway. Black car, tinted windows. Never seen it on my street before. I'm comfortable knowing that I did not accept the package just incase this fucker knew what was inside of it. Again, something was very off with the guy. Even if he was only a rogue, I feel better knowing that I didn't sign for the package if he knew what was inside of it. I'm growing a sole photoperiod that I could take some cuts off of until I can find a safe location to order to. I'll see how I feel over the next day or two and decide whether or not to cut them all down and lay low for a bit.

I like to think that they have bigger fish to fry, but sometimes the small fish get caught in the net. I havent smoked in over 3 weeks, and this is my first flare up of paranoia in a while so I didn't want to ignore that. My spidey senses were on fire lol

People have been getting their seeds nabbed like crazy lately, so I have been on high alert as well because of that. I just dont want to be the sorry fucker who gets nabbed because some post office slag thinks hes a hero

Opening a package like that would be instantly noticeable, seals are usually designed to show tampering, and it's a reason why customs seals up inspected items with their custom tape, to help show that it wasn't some douche PW that was snooping, which you're right about! Hundreds of packages delivered, you say?...LOL! No wonder the PW's noticed this! If anything, it might be a good cover, all that traffic...Maybe that carrier was just socially awkward, mate... and your discomfort magnifies his, like a vicious circle of sorts,... LOL! Honestly SB, I'm not hacking on your perceptions or intuition, but it sounds like you approached the whole thing with trepidation, even before he showed up... I play a bit of devils advocate, just to offer counterperspective, plus, I hate to see one of own grinding like this...As for the car,...LOL! once one is in this state of mind, it's hard to be objective,..certainly nobody likes an odd car in their 'hood! Fully blacked out like it was, color+windows,... probably somebodies styled Dark Cruiser ride, know what I mean? For an undercover unit, it's too obvious, don't you think? LOL! Talk about a "hey, nothing to see here' look! Plus, a full-monte tint-job would likely interfere with 'surveillance'; if it was parked very close to your house, ditto.... way too obvious! Your plan sounds good SB, and it's true about us fishies... :wiz:Leaving a karma clou:wiz:
