Indoor Saving The Old Dragons

It’s inspiring watching the passion that the breeders have and to witness the periods of time and commitment to work strains through multiple generations. To take on a breeding project that could take any number of years to work a strain into one specific ideal of what you wanted when you began separating out traits is heroic. The hundreds of strain choices that are offered today for us growers are mostly all the results of this type of dedication to an art that breeders take very seriously.

Obviously I’m in awe. And super stoned ramble. Just cool to have front row seats for breeding projects.

Week 17 - F2 - Still.

Not a week since the last update, but I've culled the preggers girl as given her long enough & did not seem to be getting any further with her..

I checked a few more seed out, and these look the part, so it all went in. I'll give the bud a week or so to dry, and then start taking it apart.

I'm cutting my main grow in another 4 weeks or so, and as i couldn't get in the Dinafem compo, then I'll be starting these at that time. It'll be around end of July for the F3 grow. Which I intend to keep on this thread.

The coloured girl still lives, though I'm debating finishing her as well. Both plants show mainly cloudy trichs, with some clear & some amber.

On second thoughts, I'll cull the other girl tomorrow, so my main crop gets the full tent for a couple of weeks & everything is done at the same time.

Week 19 or something.

I must be tripping big style, as I thought I had uploaded the last images, but there are not there & no posts either. Excellent weed.

Cut the plants at about two weeks ago, dried & picked through them. Got enough seeds to do me forever on this F number, so well pleased. Around 3g in good hash, so all worked out in the end. I'm about 2 weeks away from starting this new batch of seeds, to see what happens.

Week 0 - F3

Ok then, a couple of weeks off and we are back to it again. F3 grow this time, all very exciting. Doing it right this time, to hopefully produce a few larger plants and just see what I've got here. Proper soil, root blocks etc, instead of my usual tight wad things.

I put about 10 seeds in to crack, and not even 2 days, and we have major life. After messing them around, I have 5 nice seedlings.

More to come shortly, after dinner...

All the seedlings have been placed into little solo cups I bought for some compos way back. After just over a week I have potted 3 to their final pots, and left the last 2. Instead of my seedling chamber, they are now under my 250MH in the main tent.

Probably could have left them a bit longer for a re-pot, but I had the time today. Fingers crossed that any females have found their way into the big pots already. Otherwise there's going to be some crafty re-potting going on in a couple of weeks.
