Indoor Saving The Old Dragons

Looking good, following along closely as I just started my grow of 12 Stone Dragons that I made seeds from back in March. Tried to different methods of starting seeds; first one just putting seeds into an 82dgf Root Riot cube with a dome to keep humidity up and the 2nd method involved using a seedcracker, then a 24 soak of mixture RO water with H2O2, then into Root Riot cubes. 10 for 10 with the soaking, 0 for 2 with placing them straight into RRcube. Then I damaged one of the taproots, it stalledand has done nothing in the last week. So my preferred method of starting starting seeds, I called the crack and soak method, has shown 9 out of 10 SD seeds as viable. I am stoked with those numbers!

Sounds good mate, you cannot complain about the levels you are getting. The Stones seem very popular these days, hope they go well. I may track some down myself in the hope of getting a decent male & pollen for my Blacks.

Week 2 - F3.

It's only been a couple of days, but wanted to put a mark at what I'm going to call week 2, and some pics. Not much has happened since the re-pot, but only to be expected. We should see the plants put on some decent development in the coming week, now they are in bigger pots with good soil & a nice light. I would be surprised if they show sex next week, but stranger things have happened.

Full money shot, and then a couple of individuals.

Week 3 - F3.

Well, things have been moving on a bit. Not much in the growth department, but two have shown sex. Was hoping for a bit more development, but what can you do. I've provided the necessary bits, it's up to the plants really.

I also noticed that when pulling the male the root ball was not a great size. I noticed this in the last batch of plants as well, but thought it more to do with the limited containers they were in. I'll have to keep an eye on this with the rest of them.

Other than that the plants are doing fine, looking well and growing. We will continue to continue...

There was a lanky male, which has been pulled.

And a dumpy little female, which has been repotted in the males pot. Hopefully she'll take well to her new home.

Full tent from Week beginning.

And then the end of the week, for perspective.

Week 4 - F3.

Good week for the plants all round, decent amount of growth & the remaining two have shown themselves to be female. That gives me three females, and no male, and takes away any breeding questions. I can now just concentrate on making bud, rather than seeds. Which was the original intent for this round.

Anyway, back to the plants.

Shot of the three at the beginning of the week. The repotted female is the top right.

Shot, four or five days later.

Individuals. These are from a mix of days, up to two days ago. I'm expecting big things next week from these girls.

Thanks for looking as always.

Looks good bro! Curious to see how much of the purple stays in the genetics, I've never gotten a green pheno black dragon, I bet its fire though

Yeah, there has been a distinct decrease in the purp of the plants, especially in warmer weather. My hope if they do keep green, that I get a different terp set. All the black ones I've grown smelt, and smoked completely different to the greens.

Week 4 - F3:

Still the same week, but I found a few other pics to bug people with.

These about two weeks ago - Week 2.

Thank you for these updates. I don't say much but I'm watching and this is interesting. Getting ready to do my own breeding. Thanks for this!

No problem bud, cheers for sticking around. I have no other outlet to talk about growing, so you're getting it no matter what :)
