New Grower Raoul-Duke's Second Grow: DP Auto White Widow

Day 6
Yesterday the taproot broke through the bottom of the coir pellet so it was time to move the seedling to it's final home. The medium was prepared and charged with 420 ppm (I was aiming for 360 but I couldn't change it after 420 first attempt ). I also overfed the seedling a little in the coir pellet but it still seems to be chugging along nicely. I'm still struggling a little with adding nutes; which tools work best, amount of ppms per ml of nutes added, converting from gallons and ml and all that messes me up sometimes too, and things like that, but I'm getting there. I also picked up some R/O water so there's another thing I have to get used to.

She's looking a little green so the next feed might just be plain R/O water or a really low dose of nute solution depending on how she does in the next few days. Otherwise she looks good and healthy to me. Seeing the way she seems to be praying to lights, and the nice short stem, I'm pretty pleased with the way these blurple are performing so far for seedlings.

That's all for now. Hope everyone had a good weekend!
Cheers

Looking good my friend, the quite before the storm... Had a great weekend thanks for asking, I could go on and on but GnR fucking rocked.
How was yourS @Raoul-Duke ?

Lookin super good! One thing though is those plants are too young to be feeding. Plants have all that they need to live for the first 10 Days to 2 weeks In their cotyledon leaves. Feeding them that early can cause issues, mainly from what I have seen it makes them susceptible to N tox

Is this a coco grow? My seedlings would be dead if they didn't get feed from day 2-3 in Coco. Started my fastbuds grow of that way by mistake, makes a good read about trying to recover from that mistake.

That goes for any medium. I don't know why you would think they would die if you didn't feed them after 2 days! If you have had issues like that I would be more inclined to think it was something else. Cannabis seeds are very hearty and have everything they need in their seed casing and such to last at least a week. The fastest I have ever seen the need to start feeding is about 7 days and that was my autoxtreme grow which was unreal as far as how much she ate

Can you post a link to your journal. I'd like to check it out

Hey guys! Thanks for checking in. Couple reasons I decided to feed so early. Last grow I waited about 14 days and it was way too late. Also using RO water this time so figured a light feed couldn't hurt. I'm using promix BX(peat) so it is similar to coco. In any case what's done is done so let's see what happens! Checked on the seedling this morning and new growth seemed to be getting lighter, so hopefully that's good news.
