Nice work, Durpoi! Seeing this has convinced me to finally go ahead and set one (or 10) of these up. I agree with Monkeypox about increasing the exhaust... unless your exhaust fan is more powerful than the intake fan.

As far as finding cases to use: At the end of every semester, the college in my town inevitably winds up having to deal with a bunch of possessions that departing students are either too lazy to take with them, wealthy enough to buy replacements for, they don't have the room to take them home, etc. Included in these possessions are often computers.... especially if the college is on the expensive side (many kids can just ask mommy and daddy for a new one). The college in my town winds up with piles of them when the spring semester ends. Plus, colleges make frequent computer upgrades. The old computers are usually offered to staff, but many wind up without a home. Just my :2cents:.

Again, great work on the build! :smokebuds:

YES haha never thought of checking out a college! dear god thank you man lmao

classy lil case you got their homie.. 1 litre will be suffecient for the case, but it may actually suprise you how short of a time these autos will fill your case... depending on if you get any runts or not, your case will easily be filled in about 5 weeks or so... there are alot of options you can go with to maximize the space you have... if you have any questions, feel free to hit me up... i have been "computer growing" for about 2 and half years now... its a fun hobby... do you have any bonsai experience prior to this? also.. the are right about more exhaust... i currently have two intakes in the bottom right corner in my case, i have one intake canopy level, and two exhaust lined up with my cfls.. i still see high temps.. so be warned... your best bet (what i am personally considering) would be to get as much led light in there as possible.. no heat issues at all... good luck on your grow homie.... they are a blast...

nice looking pc case man, about how tall is the box? and how many plants u gonna be running? i think it looked like 3? my box is pretty small as well, but i got maybe 6 in. in height on ya from looks of the pics. you should maybe look into LST techniques for your lil babies. that is what i will be doing, with my past LSTing photo strains and highly successful when done, i will applying the same to my up coming bad betty run soon as i get the beans heheh. good luck and will be watching project for sure. have fun and enjoy ;)

if you top it with three nodes remaining, it should make lst a bit more manageable and symetrical...

WOW...thanks for the great response guys, appreciate it. nice to show off your hard work where it can be appreciated

I would run more exhaust and less intake . 1 fan in , 2 fans out . Creates a negative pressure to ensure you have good air exchange.

Btw , nice little setup

Thanks for advice man...after seeing a few comments suggesting i change one to an outtake i think ill change it, but sure is a pain cutting out that steel from the frame

yeah know what you mean but its a cool setup still
on the mi5 maybes ditch the pots for that one and make a 6-8l grow bag/bed/tray 1 plant lst will fill that space with no issues maybes 2 coke bottles stuck together :)
a little bubbler in there future could be cool as theres no soil so you can have 4x the roots in the same space

good point mp as temps will be hard to control with 200w in cfl

This is very interesting stuff, can you please explain a a bit more on the 2 coke bottles? bit confused

very nice! i was in the process of building one but my god i cant find a pc case anywhere around here. the closest place is asking 80 bucks for one thats broke and thats the cheapest :(. ill be following you my friend very well done!

Ah thats a shame man. i ended up using a very old one i had lying in the attic as i found it quite hard myself to find them on a low budget. but you should maybe look into doing one with a small beside locker. Just make your own :) wood is very cheap at a good hardware store id say all together you wouldn't pay more than 35-40 dollars. Thanks dude :)

Awesome PC man! it may get a little toasty, but well done.
Those seeds are good pics. W.O.S has surprisingly potent autos too, Afghan Kush Ryder was the ish.

Good Luck

yeah they really do, ive tried the sweet coffee ryder, and i must say the flavors were sensational!

yah i started with cfl and let me tell you its a pain because the ballast is built into the stupid bulb

I know what you mean! especially with the 12  i used clear thermal glue for the light BUT the heat coming off them is quite high :( we'll see what happens

Good luck to you mate.
Nice to see you got it sorted.

Well done :D

yeah finally  appreciate it dude

10! haha...id love to see that. yeah man think i will change one to an outtake, like i said to Monkeypox its quite the pain to cut out of the frame. but if it needs to be done...thats ridiculous man, wealthy snobs! but if they dont want them, they'll benefit someone else in a great way :) thanks

thanks micro! you don't realize, but your knowledge has played a big part in the making of this case :) i read allot of your threads for some pointers. kudos! only thing i know of is the wiring training technique but again haven't found allot of knowledge on it with AF's. yeah think ill change to another outtake man, everyone saying i should change. i was goign to be using led + cfl's but my budget got low VERY quick haha. always thought topping would stress AF's out no? thanks micro :)

400mm dude, is it anywhere near yours? its width that is screwing me over, im working with about 200mm :( yup 3. what LST technique do you use if i may ask? bad betty looks great man, shout me when you start! thanks, appreciate it.

no prob man... as far as cutting steel, your case should already have openings set up to mount the fans to where the original fans sat in the case... so far every case i have experimented with has the proper fan locations readily available... as far as training goes, lst works well... also you may want to super crop and then lst the shoot that was cropped to keep your overall canopy even.... as far as topping goes, it really depends on the speed of growth you get out of your autos... if they are speedy growers, the should recover quick from topping rather fast and continue to bush out... any questions you have, feel free to ask homie.. i.ll be around for awhile i think...

And no problems controlling the heat?

I would like to know how to do an installation of that.

The varieties of seeds that test you used before?

a greeting!

My pc was very old! the only fan the the whole pc had was a fan on the power supply! so no pre-made holes :( whats your opinion on doubling fans on top of each other? i don't see there being any problems

a greeting!

My temps were reaching about 26 Celsius! what would you like to know know about instillation? if you can be a bit more specific oxy.
