Yesterday was harvest day.
The smell was amazing and after wet trimming I had a very nice amount of scissor hash that I smoked as reward for my hard work. And what a smoke it was!!
Did I say earlier on that it better be good weed because of the long wait? Well, it definitely is worth it!!
I've been smoking for about 15 years. Nowadays there's not much variety nor quality in the shops (I only started growing my own last year) but back when I was a teenager and in my twenties we had the best of the best in our shops and lots of different strains to choose from. I've smoked dozens and dozens of strains. This is definitely way up there among my favorites.
It's a very smooth inhale, with a heavy dark taste with lots of body that goes into a haze taste, then on the exhale it's very full on lemon with again a hazy finish. Excellent, excellent taste.
The effect was amazing. I have to say that I smoked it and went to bed immediately after, thinking I would write this post. However, it felt so good I decided to just enjoy it and report today. Also I hadn't used for 5 days (after 4 years of daily use) so imo this is a very good test.
At the start the effect was a gain in focus. Also my body started to get warmer. A clear mind focused on the task, yet still aware of everything else, without being pulled out of the focus. When I got up out of my chair, however, a thousand and one ideas entered my head. My muscles were very relaxed but as a result control over my own movements was tricky, especially fiddly things.
When I laid down I got a full body tingling, with a sharp creative focused mind. A heavy buzz that lasted about 45 minutes. During that buzz I began to write a Fantasy novel in my head, knew it was the best thing I had ever written....
And also I picked up some songs that were "out there somewhere", floating about, ready to be heard by anyone that knew how to listen and I now knew how...I am not talking about a vague little repetitive tune you sometimes have in your head. No! I heard full songs with all the instruments together with chorus, bridges, solos and lyrics, that I had never heard before in my life. I was too lazy to grab my guitar. Besides I can't read or write music. I just play.
The buzz became a relaxing humming. The tingling remained. I fell asleep.
