Well there are definite signs of growth, the AM is starting to sprout in the middle and the second leaves are getting bigger and rising on all three plants, which makes me feel more secure about the future.
I am going to have to shell out £100 on a Ph tester, humidifier and a timer switch so I could do with a confidence boost like that. Hopefully by next week my camera skills will have improved and there is a bit more to see in the way of lush foliage

Thanks Gtron, but I already have an open widemouth jar of H2O which has made a difference, taking the humidity level tfrom the low, to the high 30s but not enough I am afraid. i will research things some more over the bank holiday and see where i get to.

I totally agree my big bubbly tank makes the room wicked humid from the bubbles. When it goes up to ninety in the room it feels like a steam bath.

Before you shell out the cash for a humidifier, you might try an open widemouth jar of H20 in your growroom, even better if you can add an airstone and have the H20 bubbling. I think you will be surprised at just how much moisture you can add to you grow area with just that low tech solution.

Woke up this morning , got trouble on my mind - help needed with yellowing leaves

IMG_0015.jpgIMG_0016.jpg

I woke up this morning to check on my babies and found that the leaves on two of them are yellowing , I am going to do some research about it ,
but if anyone knows what the problem is ?????

It almost looks like nute or nitrogen defiecency, but at that young age it shouldn't be.Have you given them any nutes yet? What kind of soil is it?A seedling that small shouldn't have any problems. We'll get some more input from other afners.

The bio bizz light mix is only slightly ferted and iv used it many times without any issues like that mate..

I gave it some vitalink plant start in the first week but other than that nothing else, it is most prominent on the auto-Mazaar (first photo), less so on the Afghan Kush (second photo) and not at all on the Diesel Ryder. i am using Biobizz lightmix soil at the moment

yeah, it could also be a result of over watering, cutting off oxygen to the root system, you should let your seedlings be for the first week to two weeks in the same soil that was saturated from the start..there is plenty of water to last that long. even though it feels like your doing nothing, your best off just leaving them alone at first for a while.

well growbevan that would explain why it only effects two plants and possibly significantly the two smallest plants.
I will try no watering for 3 days at least and see whether it has an effect

Let's slow down and back up a bit here. First off, do not judge your plants by how they look under the LED lights. What may look like a deficiency under LEDs may not even be apparent under natural light. Anytime you take pictures, especially when you suspect there is a problem, always remove them from under the LED first. To me your seedlings look fine and are showing new growth but lets see some new pictures first before you change anything.

Regarding the AN nutes, they should work fine as long as your base water has a pH below 8. I use rain water which varies but is generally around 7.5 and about 80 ppm. The pH Perfect nutes are bringing my pH to right around 6.2 every time, with slight variations depending on the ppm. I'm seeing a direct correlation between the ppm and the final pH reading. The higher the ppm, the higher the pH. Jackal uses well water with very low ppm and his is coming in lower, right around 5.8. While you probably could get away with just a pH test kit when using the AN nutes, I still think it's worth it to have a good electronic meter. Knowing your soil pH is vitally important to a successful grow. For more information on the pH Perfect nutes, check this thread: https://www.autoflower.org/f26/advanced-nutrients-ph-perfect-3455.html

Regarding the info you're getting from your hydro store guy, I'm not putting him down. He's probably giving you information based on his experience but does his experience include growing weed? Even if he has, it's probably been photos, not autos, and we here all know that autos can have quite different requirement than photos.
