Mephisto Genetics Organic & DWC with a side of COBs - 4 Mephisto strains

She really didn't sustain any visible damage. My concern was mostly with how the hydroton came out and she shifted in the riot rooter. Seemed like it would've torn her roots, which were really starting to thrive.

Also, her first leaves have always been a little weird since sprout. Unfortunately, I think her shell stuck on.

She should pull through. We will keep our fingers crossed

I don't doubt that she will pull through, just wondering how badly I may have stunted her or hurt her potential growth.
Anyways... She is pushing new roots down still and looks healthy today

I also watered the other organic plants. Will make an update when the Heisenberg Special sprouts!

MBAP looks great. I guess I overestimated the damage. There was zero visible damage but the lid/netpot hit the ground so hard that I assumed something happened to her roots...

Well, her roots have exploded and she is drinking water pretty good now (for a 10 day old plant). PPMs are also dipping slightly. 75+ppm this morning, 70ppm now (8 hours later). She had previously been growing at the same rate as my BlackBerry Kush, but now she is taking the lead in the tent.

I have a question though... Any/all advice welcomed!

I am still seeing pH swings. This morning was 5.8, now I am at 6.8. That seems drastic to me, especially for 5 gallons of water. Not sure whats going on. Res temps have been between 68 and 75, thanks to a cold floor and lots of airflow. I have made sure there are no light leaks and I am VERY methodical about my cleaning. So, is this type of pH swing normal? Also I am still seeing some brown algae flowing around in the water. Not sure if that is normal...

@derek420colorado @HotBunz I would love some advice... :bow::bow::bow:

Yep that is normal. Just get used to adjusting every day unless you are using advanced nutrients then it don't matter cause they are chleated

I am using advanced nutrients, but even chleated nutes seem to be best absorbed in the 5.6 to 6.2 range from the literature that I have read.

I just didn't expect to see swings that large in 8 hours!

Do you ever see any algae in your res? If so, when do you decide that it is too bad and a res change is needed? I assumed I would do a regular 10 day change, but might also just watch the algae.

Trust me I have seen folks that's pH was at like 8 something and there plants were fine. Never really had a problem with algae. Maybe @HotBunz has some insight

Plant update!
Day 14 - NCH, MBAP, Skyrone Stomper
Day 1 - Heisenberg Special!! (She is moving slow...)

Plants are generally looking pretty good. MBAP is growing strong.
MBAP shows a little light stress and NCH definitely shows some light stress. Moved the lights down too quickly for them, my mistake. :nono:

Lights
Currently running 250 watts of 1212 citizen COBs. I moved them back up to 30 inches last night. MBAP is a little higher than the other plants though.

Water/Feed/Nutes

Organic - Approx 300 to 500ml RO water with recharge, 1ml/l carboload, and 1 ml/l Organic CalMag - Fed last night, after I saw the heat/light stress and some under-watering symptoms.
They all looked extra perky after their watering :drunks:

DWC - Sensi Bloom A+B, Sensi CalMag - PPM was at 75 and has dropped to 70. MBAP seems to be drinking more now :hothot:

pH

Organic - Both pH meters settled at 6.5 for the last feed:shooty:
DWC - Making some big swings throughout the day. Not sure why?? - Trying to keep it in the 5.7 to 6.2 range, pHing twice a day right now. :frowny1::confused1:

Air Temp
Low 70s to low 80s

Reservoir Temps

Currently 70.9 degrees - lights just came on, so thats lower than actual.

Humidity
30% to 50%

Annnnddddd here they are! :bong:

Top left is skyrone, top right BlackBerry Kush, bottom left IP-CBD, bottom right NCH. You can see some obvious damage on NCH. :frowny1:

Here is MBAP! - Little bit of leaf curl, maybe from humidity, lights, or temperature.

MBAP's roots! The longest is longer than my forearm...

MBAP-1591.jpg

Lastly, a good shot of the water turbulence and temperature

The mbap looks good you should start to see her really take off in the next few days. Don't worry about that little leaf curl a lot of meph strains do that. I don't think it's an issue

Yeah, I saw that in almost all of my previous mephistos. (2 sour cracks and 3 sour stompers) Not worried about anyone, but NCH did get some actual damage. She is still looking just as vigorous though.
