Been a bit since I posted… status of the grow today. Got one tent with autos and prepping the other tent for the big photo. HSO Passionfruit punch will be going in her own tent in a pot made from 55 gal plastic drum cut in half. Holes drilled in bottom and I have a kiddie pool rescued from a free pile at the side of the road. Fits perfectly, but will have to eventually get a oscillating pole mount fan cus it’s gonna be tight when she gets large. Here are some pics since last post.View attachment 1518314View attachment 1518315View attachment 1518316View attachment 1518317View attachment 1518318
Pic 1 is auto tent today, pic 2-4 are OD photos that got damaged by a storm and my OD Photo comp entry… the only one in the hedge not touched by the storm. And last pic are the OD autos, all have been harvested and are in cure now. Ended up getting 11 oz from them (8 plants). My indoor autos shown earlier for SS indoor and GLB amendments have been harvested and got 11.75 oz from 4 plants, 2 Mack&Crack autos and two Apollo black cherry autos. That’s it for now. I’ll be posting the lg Photo in the mars hydro tent here… and maybe in their thread as I won’t be fully documenting its life, only snippets.
Oh yeah, the hedge are SSSC Strawberry cookies, in auto tent left front is the HSO Passionfruit punch, left rear is SSSC Autocreeper and two on the right are beaver genetics MOBSTAR’S Dream

Here is the Passionfruit punch photo from HSO just before they were shut down. Transplanted today into its final home. 1/2 55gal barrel pot. It’s peat based soil used and reused, amended with Dr earth 4-4-4 last grow. It’s been rehydrated with rain water from the sky. It is under a mars hydro FC-E 4800 480w in MH 4x4x80” and vented with a MH 6” in-line controlled by digital controller.

As you can see, I am aiming for a monster! I need a pole mount oscillating fan and a Scrog net. She has been topped and topped again. There is no set veg schedule so I’ll eyeball it and flip when it looks right. Light is at top of tent at 50%

Man, really flad to see outdoor success. All in I planted over 30 plants this summer and maybe 4 are growing untouched? Deer and varmints destroyed the plants! Even through a cage of deer fencing! thinking ill make columns of mesh to go over each pot next year...

You have to essentially build a cage around your plants or all sorts of critters will get at them. My entire vegetable garden is fenced in, it has 8' tall "walls" and the top is also covered with fencing. The "chicken wire" keeps everything at bay! It is a tad extreme, but the critters will get creative trying to have dinner on your tab! LOL

That sounds like a decent plan! Grasshoppers here, seemed to like thunder banana the most though cuz leaves got heavily perforated! No deer though but may next OD season cuz I’m gonna put a couple two foot plants out in early may.

And you should dig a trench and sink fencing 6” down to prevent diggers!

Yeah there’s 3 large “cages“ I grow in but I’m going to re-work my approach and look at each plant vs the cages. Protect each plant vs groups lead to slaughter when a creature figured out how to access. Having 5-10 get destroyed at once is too much!!

Well it was a short and painful summer.
The wife and I separated, no big deal it was way past due but she destroyed all the plants.
2 Matanuska Thunder Fucks. Photo's 7+ ft tall.
4 Godfather OG auto's
2 White Fire 43 auto's
The autos were just a couple weeks of being done, and the Matanuska was just beautiful.

starting over in a new place with a dry and heated basement.
humidity I have down to 55% at about 65 deg.
5 More Godfather OG going.
Also just received from North Atlantic Seed Co.
3 Do-Si-Do's 3, Purple Panty Dropper, 3, Purple Haze, 3, Six Shooter, and a bunch of free beans. Hope to get more planted over the next few days.
