Pick up a new block and remember the weight, soak one completely and heft it, remember the weight. When the seedling block is 30% to 40% of the weight of the soaking wet block fertigate it - repeat.

Yah, they felt very light! I watered them until they dripped onto the tray right when I got home at 5. Hoping they weren't over watered this AM! But I came home and humidity was down, humidifier ran out of water - and they were very light. My concern is that this was over watering and giving them that second watering when I got home will make it worse! Which does it look like to you?

I opened the tent once to see them laying flat on top of the starter cubes. I watered them and a few hours later they were all good .
Just try to let them get to 30% to 40% between watering. You might want to lower the light a bit if you can they are stretching a bit.

Fair point, they are likely more resilient than I give them credit for at the moment. I lowered the light to 20" and increased intensity to 70% yesterday. When I saw this stretching!

What kind of light are you running?

The color looked like it might have been HID and 20" may have been to close. Quantum Boards are no problem at 20".

So probably not heat or light stress? The tray itself runs a bit hot around 82-84, ambient around 75-77
