Outdoor Nightshade in a Raised Bed.

Nelson from what I've been told Reefermans seeds are no more !
Apparently Reeferman Passed away awhile back and from what I
understand left no one to carry on his lines Which is a real shame
he had some very nice stuff.I really liked his Willie Nelson strain but
never got the chance to grow it.I'll keep eyes and ears open and let
you know If i locate any of his stuff. This is what people are tell
ing me during my searches for it this past year.

Thanks for the info. Too bad to see a good breeder go down.

Sounds like an awsome smoke Nelson very in depth report cheers

Good report Nelson, pretty much along the line of what I experienced from this strain. I think you'll find the smell and stone will get a bit stronger after it's been cured for a month or more. I also find that for an indica there is little couch lock from it.

Well here it is. I just smoked my first joint of the Nightshade and here is what i think.

The smoke is really smooooth. One of the smooothest I have ever smoked. It has an almost neutral flavor. When I fast cure in the food dehydrator I usually don't expect the good smoking experience that this gives. Just tastes like pot slight flowery aroma but nothing specific in both the flavor of the smoke inhaling and in the aftertaste. It is a really nice smoke and would really suit new smokers. No harshness, no roughness and no coughing. Burns very nice no effort to keep it burning it can be put down and picked up again without the joint going out. A very nice quality.

The buds are nothing special to look at they just are nice big buds with no distinquishing characteristics. Medium bag appeal. Ok smell but again nothing special.

The hit is excellent has a mice floating feel to it with goode stone level. It hits like a couple of the Indica/Sativa crossbreeds. Kind of reminds me of Kalishnikov and also Jack Herer. I would give it a 7 out of 10 on the stone level. One nice thing about the stone it doesn't have any paranoia level. This might make a very good medical pot. Maybe a little too stoney for first timers but I thin it would be adjusted too quite easily. Certainly nothing in my old achy body was botheringing me after I smoked the joint and I just felt calm after. It didn't turn my hands into lobster claws which is good if you need to keep your manual dexterity. It isn't so trippy that it will make you reinvent a new world order but thoughts do circulate through you well.

I think this pot would fill the needs of most people.

I didn't get knocked down on the couch from it. The Kalishnikov is worse in that respect. Very similar in effect pots. I always grow a couple of Kalishnikovs for my private stock but I think I might make Nightshade the replacement for it. Many tell me that AK47 is the same as Kalishnikov but I disagree Kalishnikov is way better to my liking.

That Jet47 I'll be running soon is also a Kalishnikov. Here's how they describe it:

Jet speed for the famous Kalashnikov strain, reworked as an auto flowering strain and improved with some white widow influences. Here you'll find the original taste of this great strain, but just with more crystal resin glands then ever. Just try it, youll love it!

Afternoon Nelson, nice report(covers pretty much everything required) sounds a good smoke, but, probably a bit :amazon: for my growing situation(which is a shame!). All the best Fella :smokebuds:

I am looking forward to trying it. The bubletank always has room for more autos through the 2013 season. It starts now and runs through to April when I stop planting so I can shut it down for the Summer in June.

I think Muddy is going to try growing it indoors. It may be a bit like inviting a gorilla indoors to watch television. But who knows gorillas can be trained and no can Nightshade I guess. I will be sticking to my autos inside. I may try one in a big pot on my balcony next year and give Kalishnikov a rest for a year.

My wife has agreed to take a picture of the monster outside. I think it is now about 7.5 feet high. It was topped when it was 6.5 feet high. It didn't do any good it just grew back again My head of security has agreed to have his picture taken with it to give it some perspective. He is a male Siberian Husky cross and stands 23" high at the shoulder. It is time to guess the dry bud weight off of this monster. Hope it comes in to be trimmed, dried and weighed. Go Nicky do your job.
