DAY 52
OK, so here are the results of the feeds and run offs on both plants.
NYCD
Feed:
4 litres RO Water --- 15ppm (it's never come out totally clean)
8ml Cal Mag --- 360ppm (the Vitalink stuff is WAY lower, making it much easier to get the ppm in range)
2ml GH Micro -- 522ppm
1ml GH Grow -- 585ppm
2.5ml GH Bloom (total in) -- 699ppm
PH at 6.0
Run off:
PH 6.1
PPM is at an eye watering 2160ppm so we need to get that down! Hopefully after a few big feeds we'll see that come down a bit. Obviously there's some build up in the root zone.
Zkittlez
Feed:
4 litres RO Water --- 11ppm
8ml Cal Mag --- 333ppm
2ml GH Micro -- 457ppm
1ml GH Grow -- 526ppm
2.5ml GH Bloom (total in) -- 622ppm
PH at 5.9
Run off:
PH 5.8
PPM is at 1200ppm Not as bad but could still come down a bit. She's much bigger so I guess is taking more in and there's less hanging out in the roots.
Taking them out of the tent and getting a look at them in natural light has calmed my nerves somewhat as the damage looks less severe than it would appear under the LED but I'm still stumped as I can't see any reason for a lock out. It's very frustrating.
The Vitalink now does give me the option to increase the cal-mag a bit without blowing the ppms totally out so I'll try upping it to 3ml per l on the next feed and see how they get on.
Buds are developing nicely on the Zkittlez, but the NYCD is slow or perhaps stunted. The breeder states 60-70 days which is obviously unrealistic but I'm just hoping she packs some weight on soon as the smell is fantastic, it would be a shame to pull nothing but popcorn and larf.
Zkittles:
NYCD (sorry for the crap pic)
I've added nothing so far and think they could do with a boost, both of them but especially the NYCD. I have nothing to hand other than a bottle of Canna PK, what do you reckon, any point? Anything else that anyone would recommend?
Sorry to call you in again @Waira but might I ask you to cast an eye over the above and let me know your thoughts? Your expertise would be much appreciated!
