Indoor Nice Option's Garden of Intergalactic Delights

organics is certainly the hot topic at the moment i dabbled in it for a grow last year biotabs and florganics cant recommend florganics enough so simple and fool proof straight out the bag had mixed results from the tabs il do it again just dont have time for learning right now kinda screwed myself last year tying to many new things then had to stop growing for a bit stocks have been dry too long now
Yeah, I feel I'd be jumping ahead of myself in a big way but it's something I'd like to begin to look into now as it'll take a while to get the soil where I'd like it to be. I've been chatting to my GF about it and she's interested enough in it to consider allowing me to get another tent to experiment with it in. This would allow me to try a full organic grow with a bed and also still run a tent as I have been so far. I've been looking at the Clackamas Coots mix which will take a little while. A new tent is not a cheap addition though so it's a little way off for many reasons.

I’m thinking ahead now also about an organic grow. I’m giving a good part of my harvest now to several people for medicinal use alone. Insurance companies have yet to cover cannabis as medicine and though licensed producer costs are relatively low for dry flower, tax and shipping makes it a bit much. Several people I know can not afford the cost of buying their own meds. Infused oils are expensive and supply is low with a high demand, so availability is not great. Dispensaries are also low on selection.

In Canada, I can legally grow 4 plants at a time without licensing, but I can be designated to grow medicinally for others that cannot grow their own. I’m thinking another tent about 4x8 or 8x8 would work. I could setup a perpetual grow between the two tents. Anyway, my thoughts are an organic soil grow would simplify growing and reduce my cost of nutes. I would save time and money while providing meds to those that need it most. Have you looked into organic soil recipes?

Well done for helping your friends out! It's a great feeling being able to help those in need.

Seen a few, i need to settle on one and work towards it. The coots mix looks good but contains a lot of items that might be tough to source in small amounts and I heard him say that people have struggled with finding the right type of worm casings etc. We'll see and it's still a way off but as sourcing the ingredients might be a bit of struggle for me it would be worth beginning to think about it now.

Things are going south very quickly guys...

I've no idea what to do and it's really stressing me out. Can they really need 3ml per L of cal-mag?

In better news, switched to the vitalink and the ppms are WAY lower. I'd avoid the plant magic stuff.

:peace:

If I had to guess you might have a pH problem where Calmag is not being taken up. So you feed it more Calmag but it doesn’t improve. Maybe a runoff check or slurry test to check pH.

It seems to settle at 5.8 but i know RO can fluctuate a fair bit. I’m not sure what can be done to prevent that. I read somewhere that using some ph up and then down can help with that. It’s the only thing I can think it could possibly be. Ordered some Ph up so hopefully that does the trick. It’s pretty frustrating after investing so much time and money into tent for this to happen at such a crucial stage.

I'm ordering the coco bundle, we'll see how it goes. It's reasonable value for what you get but seems to have a lot going on.
I've been listening to Tad Hussey's podcast for the past few days now though and all I want to do is bin all the nutes and go full blown organic. So whilst I'm intrigued, I'm not excited but I'm sure I'll get over myself once the buds start appearing.

Seen great results with it although I've not seen it used with autos.

I'll let you know the results from the vitalink although I'm not sure there'll be much if any difference.

I would love to check out a complete fully organic grow by you. I have looked into a couple of organic grows because I am really interested.in organics, but i want the holy grail of organics, super simple that produces fantastic results.

You’re runoff is 5.8?

I’ve understood the same thing with coco and I don’t understand the science behind it but I believe it has something to do with its buffering capability. You could try a post in the infirmary if you haven’t already. Waira might be able to help you out there.
