As title says I am new to Auto’s.. (Also new to the site, thanks for having me) and it has been a while since I have grown my own flowers, around 15 years, so I could be considered a newb I guess. I certainly feel like one!

After a lot of research into current growing techniques I think I am approaching my new grow in the most simple way for my needs. I have opted for a 1mx1m tent and 300w led. Using 3” exhaust fan, oscillating fan and de humidifier. Simple as that. Not sure on brands of equipment other than the led which is a Daylight 300w pro. Tent is Budbox.

My approach to medium has also been to keep it simple. Using a mix of compost, peat, vermiculite, perlite and dry additives specific for autos from Livingsoils. I have been feeding through top dressing and water once a week. Little bit of leaf tucking and light defoliation. They are currently receiving 1L of water a day. Simple.

Day 35 from seed. So far so good. Take a look.

Any comments welcomed. Thanks for looking. :thanks:

I should add: 2 Royal Critical and 2 Blue Cheese from RQS are the flowers in pics.

Looking good and :welcome:

Good luck with the grow

:vibes:

Thanks I appreciate it. Been tweaking all sorts through the last month trying to maintain perfect environment - so far they seem ok, but I know things can and do go awry. But I know where to come if I need some help.

Well I am still not happy with the state of some of the leaves and purple stems and the Critical at the rear left did some major stretching that I cannot understand - but the signs are encouraging otherwise… Take a look

I estimate to be in late week 5 early week 6 - Quick question: when do you start counting the days? When you start to germinate? Or when the seedling touches the soil? Or is is just a rough time from germination?

Looking good!

I count days above ground, I don't know what the standard is.

Thanks Drownomatic! I had my doubts about these girls but they have definitely flourished and seem to be doing ok now…

That makes sense re the ageing of the girls, I am not far off
