Ha Ha Ha.
It kinda herded us - came in from the left side, I did my best to avoid it by moving over, but I literally gently pushed it over and it slid beneath the car. By that time two wheels were over the edge, and the car then slid sideways a bit so that there was no way to get out. Believe it or not, when I got out to check the deer, it was gone. I think we must have slid off it sideways as we came to a complete stop. All this was at really slow speed, I just could not get to a stop in time due to the icy road. The only damage to the car was the bottom edge of the license plate which got bent when I pushed the deer over. Unless you count the clots of deer hair hanging beneath the car when we got it towed the next day. Since the deer managed to leave, it may not have been hurt much.
Sadly, the roads near our place are a real hazard with deer at night. People feed them, so they hang around and end up on the road on a regular basis, but in over 30 years, I have only managed to connect gently with one.
