Don't forget to review that for us @N/A-Greengo .... :bighug: ...I'm sure most of us expect a grow tent to last Minimum a couple of years....:pass:...
Oh it did, I've had it for 2 years and 8 months. But I also have 3 other Vivosun tents, the oldest being about 7 years old and no issue with the zippers whatsoever... But they're different than the latest, being that the zipper elements are much thicker and quite a bit larger on the older models. The misquoting of the warranty by the rep. really irked me though.

Just wondering if anyone lubricates their zippers when they get a new tent.

Don't have a tent, but waxing those zippers is likely a decent ideaIMO. Seems to me that the zips are the biggest failure risk, and anything doable to keep them happy should be good. Just make sure that you lube with something that can't damage synthetic material. You can get zip wax at stores which cater to paddlers or divers - it gets used on dry suit zippers. :pighug:

Wow......woke up to -34 Celsius and the windchill is -45, I have an appointment in the city for my dentures. I hate travelling in the cold but it has to be done. As long as we are there we might as well get our shopping in as well. Got my long johns on and dreaming of getting home before I even leave. Stay warm everyone .......and stay lit as well.......:eek2:
Bit crispy that. My tolerance of that seems to be declining of late.

Good luck with it, take warm boots and coat even if you don't wear them. The dearest and I had an interesting lesson there coming home at night on Christmas eve a few years back. A deer drove us into the ditch, and, since it was Christmas eve near midnight, a tow was not available at all, period. We ended up heading out on compact snow and ice at ~-20C in shoes and not enough insulation. We would have suffered a lot worse if a neighbour hadn't picked us up before we were on the road long. We had ~3km to go, so frostbite was on the agenda.

OTOH, if you live where it gets that cold, you likely know all about this. :bighug:

Let this be proof to not count your runts and weirdo plants out.
I didn't even want to make a journal of this one cause it was growing really weird and kind of deformed but she has grown out of it for the most part and really exploded the last couple of weeks.

Why were you letting a deer drive your car?
