Pretty sure in northern new york its actually jack in the box tacos for their mexican cuisine!:haha::rofl:

Surprisingly enough we have a few Mexican restaurants around here. There’s actually quite a few migrate workers around the orchards. No jack in the box though :dammit:

You can see how close i have 2 taco trucks right out the back of my neighborhood! :eyebrows::headbang::rofl:

Very respectable of you. I look up to you and your work.
It's not really work. It just happened. I didn't plan it. I started a handyman business while on parole from a 12-year beef for weed smuggling on the high seas. Refugee families who bought derelict houses in the tax auction passed my number around. There were not enough dads or grandpas, so a few single-mom families sort of adopted me to go to parent/teacher meetings, arrange medical appointments, help with homework... I taught a lot of kids to ice skate, ride bikes, row, paddle, explore the woods. Now mostly grown, they're like extended family. I got old, and been sick sometimes, and they call to check on me more often than my own kids do, and come to visit from as far away as Philly, Texas, Minnesota, and California. I just have 2 little kids now that come after school for homework and a square meal. I mentored their mom from age 14 when she was in a group home. When she went to jail at 22 I was the only one she trusted with her kids. I'm helping her set up a 6x8 basement grow room now. NY legal up to 12 plants per household!

Here in Western NY there are a lot of farms, so we always had Mexican farm workers, either migrants or permanent residents. We've been having mom & pop Mexican restaurants for a while. My latest fave is Taquería El Dorado, walking distance from my house.
