I tried weed in 1965 when my big sister's boyfriend brought some back from college. I was 14. It was not very available where I was at the time. I tried growing some bag seeds soon after that (fail). Weed was $10 a "lid" (aka an ounce) when I hitched a ride to San Francisco in 1968.

Chicken sandwiches made with the Tonkatsu chicken breasts I fried the other day and froze. Reheated in the airfryer @350/12 min.

Breakfast: Not very photogenic but was absolutely delicious, Eggs poached on fried fresh tomatoes, over a chicken sausage patty, Mycelium in some lamb yogurt with granola and fresh blueberries. Chocolate Coffee Cake from the GF Bakery and a good Long Black.

We went for hubbys post-op check at the hospital and the doctor has just told him he is Lucky to be Alive..

If it wasn't for the brilliance of the surgeon he'd be a dead man.....

His gallbladder had died inside him...and turned gangrenous...he said if he hadn't of got to the hospital when he did..he probably would have died.

Wow, glad things went so well, not lucky to have that happen but lucky to get the right surgeon at the right time!

I never understood where the term lid comes from. Weed and hash were sold as fingers when I was a kid, but I don't get lid

becuz so-called "ouncez" used to be sold in the round prince albert tobacco canz that, u guessed -> had a lid on em
