Yep, just leave the roots there. If you have good enough biological activity, you should be able to easily twist out the main stock within a week or so. If not, just cut it out a few inches below the top of the soil.
How soon you replant kind of depends on how you're replanting. Are you gonna use clones, are you gonna direct plant, are you running autos or photos,.............. et cetera.

Once I get this style going, I think one of the things that will aid in the turn around, is maintaining a good living cover crop toward the end of your grow of your girls. Naturally when you chop you're going to turn off your water. A vigorous cover crop will take up all that moisture that you have. Once the cover crop has pulled out the excess moisture, you can chop and drop the cover crop, throw a little bokashi on top, let that work for a few days and then throw a layer of compost with any other top dressing amendments you want to do and then replant your cover crop. You can then plant your girl at that time.

That's an easy two weeks before you replant with minimal amount of labor. Now weigh that against taking all the material out of the pot and placing it into a tote, adding all your reamendments and letting them cook for three weeks, or until it stops heating back up after turning. I monitor the temperatures in my tote that's cooking the next runs media and I turn it a day or so after I noticed the temperatures begin to drop, so ya got to add all that labor too. Then you have to repot.

You should be able to keep that going for quite a few rounds of growing. I think the Living cover crop is a must with this particular set up to help keep the upper layer more fluffy and permeable. It also helps hold moisture in the upper level where are you going to have a lot of biological activity.

It's sorta like a modified Ruth Stout style of growing.
I know it is wasteful but i use new soil every grow for my indoor grows. I recycle the soil and use it outdoors, but i found myself more likely to attract buggies when i re-use soil indoors. I can handle bugs outdoors, but when they take hold indoors i. Perfect conditions, they get damn near impossible to manage or deal with, so i just dont do it. I also dont bring plants indoors if they have already been outside!

I am most definitely pleased with the results of my last infused coconut oil that I made. I'm back down to one dropper on a cookie or in a mini muffin and that's fine for helping sleep. I go to sleep easily and then I wake up! It's very solid sleep! It's been running at 6 to 7 hours and for me, that's pretty crazy!

It's really kind of changed my outlook on making medicinal oils. I knew that a change was going to come after purchasing my Cannatrol. With supposedly being able to dry ice water hash, I won't have material to rework and extract the last bit of Medicine as I do with dry ice. And with how strong this oil is, I don't think I'm gonna miss it.

Given that this was all from seeded Bud, so it's not exactly the most frostiest, the next oil I make from flower should even be more potent. With this last batch I'm pretty sure that using the flower helped with the potency, but I also think that it being seeded flower, in the process of letting the seeds mature properly, the Trichomes were well beyond @Mossy "Auntie Amber". I do find it a bit odd that it performs well as a sleeping aid, yet when taken during the daytime at higher levels, it doesn't couch Lock me or make me go to sleep.

It kind of makes me change how I will handle the medicinal strains I grow in the future. When I harvest a girl I will take the some of buds 4 fresh froze for later ice water hash and then have a portion of the girl immediately go into the Cannatrol for a dry. After the four day dry, I can then do my ice water shake with the fresh froze anytime after that. When I'm ready to do my ice water shake I can take the flower out of the Cannatrol and then run it through the decarb and infuse cycles.

I think my live Rosin will improve and I know my infused oil Quality will improve. While I have had pretty potent infuse coconut oil in the past, it did take several cycles of using the same oil, but it is quite strong tasting and not for everyone's taste buds. By using quality flower And making my infused oil, it will be less work and a considerably better tasting and more potent product.

Ordered the Focus V saber hot knife to go with the carta2. This thing is awesome totally changed my feelings about hot knives makes the rosineer one I have look like a joke. The saber on medium rosin slides right off clean in seconds on high it started bubbling and smoking :nono::headbang:
