Ordered the Focus V saber hot knife to go with the carta2. This thing is awesome totally changed my feelings about hot knives makes the rosineer one I have look like a joke. The saber on medium rosin slides right off clean in seconds on high it started bubbling and smoking

Be careful not to get any alcohol on the plastic parts. It eats the cheap plastic and the tip breaks off. I was happy as hell with mine for a couple of weeks and then it became a piece of crap. Minimal pressure to scrape up a dab and the plastic split and blade was unusable.

The part that broke is the reciever for the blade on the main body. Once the plastic split , you could not put a replacement blade back in. When I messaged them to explain what happened they said not to use alcohol for cleaning, but didn't offer any compensation. I went with one from Crossin Tech. It has a 510 thread on it instead of a push and turn, and I haven't had any problems with it.
