Pumice is just better than perlite due to its size and odd shape! And perlite can actually absorb a bit of water vs pumice being more like small rocks so drains off it better and no water absorption!
Fruitz we’ll have a grow off at high noon. You use pumice and I’ll use perlite and expanded clay balls!

It took til this post til I remembered what the clay balls were! I was thinking like miracle grow nutrient balls but forgot they are the big ones used in hydro! ;)

I used BAS pumice in my outdoor pots this year just so I don't have to mess with perlite and the dust every year. Pumice is way heavier. Totally threw off any progress I thought I was making with learning watering  Went from carrying 10 gallon pots around to moving them in a wheel barrow. But I don't have to add any aeration ever again I guess :pass:

Cold colours...:eyebrows:
I got a little bit of cold colors showing on my outdoor olants as well. Im personally not a fan of dropping temps for color change, but if its natural im all for it. It was you who said winter grown buds taste better right? Ive noticed the cold has extended the whole growth as my indoor auto plants have 1-3 wks left and my outdoor plants of the same age ar just starting to flower! Pretty neat!
