I don't know and am wrong most the time when it comes to bugs but i still do think it's a mite of some kind it doesn't look like any aphid pics I have seen

After the initial setup I only have to do one top dress during the grow............... If she's not a regular earthbox girl excuse me she's

What if you find you have a extra hungry girl and need to top dress early maybe extra feeding would you just do your same flower feed? I got SS triton lime biscotto that has blown through her top dressing way sooner then and from what you've told me when I see extensive roots on top I am behind feeding correct?

We will stick to the tried and true method of pawning him off onto @Mañ'O'Green
He will have the answer!:crying:

Yeah that could be some of it!:finger::haha:(I still vote for that for punctuation).

I was thinking and yeah it may have come off that I thought they were beneficial but it was not the case just trying to compare it to my situation and confirm what I had going on. While they look like those I have never seen them on the undersides of leaves like that. I don't see them on the plants in soil but in the coco setup they do although I have never seen any type of food for them on the plants:shrug: Just assumed since it was the coco setup they couldn't find what they want in there so they move up the plant:shrug:
No matter what they actually are, they are feeding on the plant. At least they look like they're feeding.
You would really need to get really up close pictures and look at the mouth parts to even get a remote idea of what it is. There are a lot of insects that look like that.

Thats not always the best judge of when to topdress in my experience! When i had worms in there i would do a smaller topdress every couple of weeks to add a lil rock dust and food for the worms and i always still had crazy roots growing out the top of soil!

Well i never did until last grow when he said something about it and have the same thing happening here. You got me thinking now I don't have any worms per say but do use EWC that has some in it. This round I started using roots organic terp tea's for ferts also and their bags say to topdress weekly :nono: I would normally wait another week and half that's when the other two with get top dressed

Good evening @Mossy
