Morning. Yes, I have got a good mood almost every day but I have not been to best at expressing myself in a positive way

And after some figuring I have come to the conclusion that if something doesn’t kill you it will only make you stronger.

Its fantastic to live, learn and “transform” during life.

Yup...the whole of life is about learning and transforming..... :pass: .....your Views are changed by the experiences you have during it.

My View now is a LOT different than when I was 20......:headbang:

Good morning everyone!
17*f, 1st cup of coffee WAS hot, Buster is nagging for something, gotta figure out his demands before I can finish my coffee.....

Morning @Talonxracer :pass:...sharing one......

Yup...our old dog does that...nags everytime you sit down for a coffee........dogs come First.....

It is a killer, living away for 10 years in the sun was tops - back here I am struggling now, the plan is to finish up in Portugal hence the frequent trips sorting out the treehouse for when it is viable to go off grid and retire - you never know we could be neighbours (country wise)

Good Plan.....:headbang:....here they are well set up to go self sufficient...water sewerage etc.....but electric is still a problem.
Solar systems are expensive.....If you need enough to run a house.....
and after experiencing 5 weeks down here without electric at one time........you Need it.....

20? lol That is like taking a elevator in in Mach-speed! The transform on my view on things have rapidly changed over the last 5 years. We could call it a wider view as you can see different situations from more angles and levels. I believe it’s called social skill’s, which I learned just now or confirmed.

This was interesting….. I believe i need to see a specialist regarding genetics. I think I have got an idea, but I’m pretty sure someone has figured this one out before me.

The place is small, I have the solar rigged up, only using two panels for now and 1 battery as it only needs to keep the fridge running and lights at night. For sure once it goes full time that will have to increase significantly.
The land is essentially a plot which in its day would have been an olive grove along the top half and vineyard along the bottom where there is a stream, so I use a generator to pump the water to a 10k/ltr tank which sits about 10 mtrs higher than the treehouse, so gravity feeds the kitchen (but only cold water for now). about another 10 meters lower and 20 meters or so along is a shower room and compost toilet. The Shower gets water from the big tank gravity and passes a big cauldron sitting above a gas burner to heat up the shower water. The Toilet has a hole of about 10 meters deep (I will fit a real porcelain one at some point, currently it is a wooden structure.
Put a vegetable patch in which got mashed up by the wild boar, planted lots of fully grown fruit trees, some have taken others died in the 'drought'. It is really the first time I have used my hands doing this sort of thing, having spent all of my career so far at various desks - so far, more mistakes and restarts than successes but in the words of the late great Magnus Magnusson...I have started so I will finish.
Stayed there a fair bit this year, but mid summer was crazy hot and the stream dried up so had to go to a hotel a fair trek away for daily showers which wore thin incredibly fast...so flew back in the end. Still a work in progress and it has been great fun so far.
