If you saw how much dirt was on our tables at the end of just shucking the buds, you wouldn't want to lick anything lol! We have to wear dust masks while we shuck, otherwise you'd put yourself into an asthmatic coma. Desert/high plains sand/dust plus high winds = really, really dirty pot.

Same here....we get Dirty rain that comes up from the Sahara desert...sets like cement on the plants.... :pass:

Ah @Olderfart ....... :headbang: ......were the chillies like this...not much bigger than the tip of your little finger....?

I've been here for 3 weeks officially, I was actually hired on as a temp to help them finish harvest and this last week I was officially offered a full time job as an employee. I work every day that no one wants to work, offer to do every job that no one wants to do.

I'm now in charge of all the mother plants for the farm, in charge of all cloning for the farm, and I'm helping to make the final decisions for what we're going to run in our new 2400 square foot greenhouse. As of yesterday, I'm also now the only officially licensed pesticide applicator on the farm (so I'm handling all of our IPM.)

When I started, someone left the lights OFF in the mother room and all the moms started to flower, and they were INFESTED with spider mites, aphids, thrips, and powdery mildew. Since then, I've been aggressively treating them and we now have about 72 moms salvaged that have no PM and outside of a bunch of dead bug bodies, are relatively pest free. Took 750 clones the other day, and I'm going to push that we grow out our new moms on every cycle (vs keeping one mother over and over for each cultivar.) Like just no one took care of ANYTHING. In the room where the mothers are kept, they have a 3 foot by 5 foot table being lit by a 315 CMH, and then an 8 ft by 4 ft flood table being lit by literal 100 watt COB light hahaha! Oi oi oi.

The lights they have in the greenhouse too are just incredibly underpowered. We're running on limited power availability (farm doesn't have 3-phase power yet, it's available but expensive.) So I'm going to try to make a reaaaaaally scientific case about spending a little coin on high efficiency LED's and then running them on light mover rails.

Anyways. I'm stoned and you have me rambling.

Sounds like they found the right guy for the job! It has to be golden to have you there, and i bet there is a decent sellary! :d5:

Sometimes luck strike and you are worth it with your knowledge.
