No, it's good lol, I always feel better once that damn road closes
Got lot's of deer meat, and fish stocked up. The only thing I'm short on is 'good' firewood...still working on that. The woodshed looks 1/2 full

Pulled many a sled load of wood when i didn't get it in soon enough years ago.. the woodpile is good here, rain barrels full. jarred salmon and elk... plenty of medicine... bring it on! :smoking: Oh... a funny story.. me buddy, John, RIP, is from Alaska. He moved down to eastern Washington when i met him. He had some acreage, and was out cutting what he thought were dead standing trees in the winter. He was cutting down tamarack, as he had never seen them before and didn't realize they lose their needles in the winter Miss that guy... he later moved to Craig .. then the C got him.. We used to house sit for him in Eastern Washington when he went up fishing the Naknek every summer with his boys

Yeah definitely no shortage of wood, going to get it and split it is the hard part lol

Lol, tamarack that's funny. Yea it's better to have the wood piled up this time of year for sure

Looks like after today the grocery store will no longer be an option for us...this snow in the hills will probably close the pass to town maybe till spring. That's fine, we're ready for it
