I haven't build one in a while now, so I'm just starting again. This one will take me a while. I ordered a nice air brush to see if I can do some of that weathering and chipping. I mostly did cars and some aircraft in the past.

Mine seems to have dropped a fair bit. I'm thinking I left it too loose to start and it's settled.

I usually see @2" drop in a 3 gallon pot. I start out as loose as I can for the roots to develop

Oh ok I'd say I'm at a 2-3" drop in a 5 gallon fabric pot so that's not bad.

Next time as u fill pot pick it up and drop it a few times to make the soil settle without packing it down! If u use your hands to make it settle u can make it too tight where roots can’t breathe so well!

Thanks for the tip, I never thought to drop it. I just knew using my hands would screw it so I just left it.
