So it seems the autopots don't actually go dry before filling back up...Mine went down to about 1/4 inch then started filling again back up to 1 inch deep. Surprised that it doesn't create an over watering situation....
 
Me? I have looked at the biggest plants around (documented), the health of the leafs, phenotypes, growstyles and i believe i can push the limit in this area a bit more.

DWC, plenty of light, the correct pheno that can handle and use all the light, a perfect dialed in plant, grower and enviroment.

I bet there are thousands of growers that can grow a 1000 - 1500 grams autoflower.

I believe i can.
Go for it big man!! Would love to watch it.

I'm starting to feel fated letting the farmer use our field @hecno ....:pass:...the first 4 years until the flood he had alfalfa in.....and it was great....looked like a lovely green lawn...with a nice blue haze when it flowered.

After the flood..he planted Wheat...and guess who has a wheat allergy.........:headbang:...

So we were watching with Interest what come up this time...............:pass:....flipping Cilantro......I'm going to be surrounded by a fields of Cilantro....and I cannot bear the bloody smell of the stuff.

They had it in another couple of fields last year...and when they harvested it was like chemical warfare....we couldn't breathe.....:nono:...now we are going to be surrounded by it....pppfffttt.....who grows bloody Cilantro in fields.....:pass:
I grew a small patch (one foot x 2) and the smell at times was strong a whole field WoW
